This week, Flyn’s sharing his current favourite exercise, the Farmer’s Carry 👏🏼

It’s one of those simple but incredibly effective movements that targets multiple areas at once. By walking with weight in each hand, you challenge:
🔹Postural control: maintaining an upright, neutral position under load
🔹Core stability: resisting side-to-side sway as you move
🔹Grip strength: holding onto the weights throughout the carry
🔹Shoulder health: encouraging scapular stability and endurance

Flyn’s key cues for nailing this one:
✅ Stand tall and proud
✅ Shoulders back and down
✅ Take steady, confident steps
✅ Keep your core switched on throughout

It’s a great example of how functional strength training builds real-world stability and resilience, not just muscle! 💥

We’re so excited to welcome Suzzy to the HEP team 🎉
With a passion for helping clients move better, feel stronger, and achieve long-term health outcomes, she brings fresh energy and expertise to the clinic.

Suzzy has a strong background in clinical exercise prescription and loves working with clients across all abilities — from chronic condition management to strength and performance training, with a special interest in working with kids and mental health conditions . 💪
