✨ Mini Groodle Update ✨

Could today be the beginning of something very special? 🤎🤍

Our beautiful Sally is taking the next step this week, and we couldn’t be more excited about this pairing. She has been an absolute star, and we’ve made sure she’s happy, healthy and ready.

• Every choice we make today shapes the generations to come.•

It’s easy to see a photo like this — walking Posie quietly along the path — and think breeding is all sunshine and puppies in baskets.

But what most don’t see is the years behind that walk.

Dog breeding, when done with purpose, is not quick. It is not convenient. It is not glamorous. It is a long road of intentional choices made over and over again with the future in mind.

It’s late nights watching a litter breathe.
It’s medical expenses and specialist appointments.
It’s missed holidays because a girl is close to whelping.
It’s travel across states for the right pairing.
It’s long conversations with families about lifestyle, commitment, and expectations.

And above all — it is about health.

Health First. Always.

We wanted to share a little more about what guides our program 🤍

For us, it has always been about raising companion dogs who can live long, happy lives as deeply loved family members.

That means we spend a lot of time planning behind the scenes.

We DNA test our puppies so we can make thoughtful decisions as we move forward. The more we understand, the better we can care for the generations to come. It’s simply part of doing our best for them.

Sometimes that means looking further to find the right match.
Sometimes it means slowing down.
Sometimes it means waiting.

And we’re comfortable with that.

Not everything is about what you see on the outside. Coats continue to develop and refine over time. What matters most to us is building strong foundations first.

As we grow our lines, we’ll continue to assess each puppy carefully — temperament, structure, and health — before deciding who stays with us and who goes on to their forever families. Every choice is made with the future in mind.

We’re building slowly. Intentionally. With care.

By the time a puppy is ready to join their family, they represent years of learning, planning, investment, and love.

Step by step.
Always learning.
Always moving forward.

THE SPLOOT!

Melba has the most adorable puppy Sploot! I'm not sure if this is the actual name for this flopped out puppy sprawl...but its a cute name, so ill keep it!

She has the most unique sable coat - so interesting, with lighter, balayage-looking tips. I feel as though once her first groom happens she will lighted in most places except around her eyes, tail and ears! Will be so keen to see!

So lovely seeing her in her home ❤️ thanks Katie Lenon for giving her the loveliest home 🏡 We really LOVE our guardian families.

• HOW DO I WANT TO BE REMEMBERED ? •

As a breeder, I’ve learned how much timing matters in this journey. Sometimes things line up perfectly, and sometimes they don’t—and that’s just part of it. What’s always important to me is doing right by people and, most importantly, the dogs.

I want to be remembered as someone who genuinely tries their best to help. That doesn’t stop with my own program. If my timing doesnt suit your needs, I’m always happy to point people toward other trusted, ethical breeders I respect. Supporting one another only makes this community stronger.

I truly believe karma has a way of coming back around. When breeders work together instead of competing, everyone benefits—buyers feel supported, programs stay ethical, and the dogs always come first.

🚩 Red Flags When Enquiring About a Puppy 🚩

As a responsible breeder, the way someone reaches out tells me a lot.

Messages like:

* “Do you have a girl puppy?”
* “What do you have available right now?”
* “Any puppies left?”
.. ARE IMMEDIATE RED FLAGS.

Ethical breeding is not first-come, first-served and it’s not shopping from a shelf. Puppies are planned, waited for, and matched carefully to the right homes. Many of my families wait months (sometimes longer) because they value health, temperament, and lifelong support over instant availability.

All of our waitlists are managed through RightPaw. There is an application process, and it’s there for a reason. The application requires you to tell me about yourself, your lifestyle, your experience with dogs, and what you’re looking for in a puppy. This helps me ensure each puppy is placed in the most suitable home — not just the first person who asks.

If someone is only focused on:

* Gender before compatibility
* What’s available *right now*
* Avoiding applications, waitlists, or introductions

…it tells me they may not understand the commitment of responsibly owning one of my dogs.

I prioritise homes that:
✔ Take the time to complete an application
✔ Ask about health testing and temperament
✔ Are willing to wait for the right match
✔ Understand that a puppy is a 10–15 year commitment, not an impulse purchase

If you’re looking for a puppy today, i may not be the breeder for you — and that’s okay. My goal is always the right home, not the fastest placement.
