The Springfield Mo-Men have been named Finalists at the 2025 Ipswich Australia Day Awards, as Community Group of the Year, celebrating the impact of a community that shows up, digs deep, and makes real change.

Raising over $500,000 for Movember since 2012 and named the #10 Movember Fundraiser group in Australia, this achievement belongs to every sponsor, supporter, donor, and Mo-Bro who stood alongside us.

A massive shout-out to Mark Winter, Paul Kirwan, Matt Eggins, and Steve Riddell for representing the Mo-Men and good luck on the night and your continued lead to change for men’s health.

This is proof that when community comes together, incredible things happen.

Are you currently pregnant or a new mum? Do you find the cost of food or access to healthy food a challenge?

Our researchers at The University of Queensland and Swinburne University are currently recruiting participants for in-person interviews in Springfield. They would love to hear your perspectives and learn more about your experiences in order to better understand how effective solutions to food access, food affordability and healthy food can be provided to pregnant women and new mothers in the community.
