Yet their bodies feel stuck.

Often the issue isn’t effort.

It’s that most approaches focus on symptoms rather than the systems behind them.

When I created Tree of Health, I chose the name very intentionally.

If a tree’s leaves begin to struggle, we don’t try to fix the leaves.

We look at the conditions supporting the tree:

• the soil
• the water
• the environment supporting the roots

The body works in much the same way.

Symptoms are often signals that something deeper needs support.

Are you a woman over 35 who has noticed something frustrating:

The things that used to help you manage your weight suddenly don't seem to work anymore...

You're eating well...
You're exercising more...
But the scale barely moves.

Many women beat themselves up about not being more disciplined, or that they lack willpower.

Or that it's just a sign of getting older.

As metabolism changes with age, hormones, stress, sleep quality and insulin regulation have far more influence on how the body stores and uses energy than when you were younger.

Simply eating less doesn’t address those deeper metabolic signals.

Actually, doing this slows metabolism further.

This is why a root-cause approach becomes so important.

When the underlying metabolic drivers are addressed, the body begins responding very differently.

Most women I speak to don’t have a lack of willpower.

They have a body that has been pushed out of balance.

Years of stress, dieting, hormone shifts, poor sleep, and constant pressure eventually change how metabolism works.

When that happens, the body stops responding the way it used to.

Weight loss becomes harder.
Energy drops.
Hormones feel unpredictable.

And many women are told to simply ā€œtry harderā€.

That approach rarely works.

Real change happens when we look at the **root causes driving those symptoms**.

This is why I created Tree of Health.

Not as another quick-fix program, but as a place to work through the deeper metabolic and hormonal drivers that affect so many women over 35.

Because when the body is supported properly, it can begin to recalibrate.

And that’s when real change becomes possible.

Over the past 10 years in practice, I’ve worked closely with women through personalised consultations and tailored plans addressing diet and lifestyle.

As my own life evolved — and as I supported more women 35+ — I began to see something clearly.

This stage of life isn’t helped by band-aids or quick fixes.

Fluctuating hormones, metabolic shifts, disrupted sleep and accumulated stress don’t happen overnight — and they rarely exist in isolation.

Often, the full load only becomes visible when you step back and look at the whole picture.

That’s why I’ve refined the way I work.

More structure.
More depth.
A clearer, program-based pathway for real recalibration.

Over the past year, I’ve been quietly reflecting on how I practice.

I’ve seen the same pattern again and again — in clinic, and in myself.

Women in their 30s and 40s navigating fluctuating hormones, slower metabolism, disrupted sleep and stress overload… often while raising children later in life and managing full households and careers.

It became clear that standalone consultations weren’t enough.

Real change at this stage of life needs depth and structure.

It needs time.
It needs a program.

Something is evolving.

Breath by James Nestor continues to deliver mind blowing scientific facts that need to be told and shared.

If you have crooked teeth, or your child, no matter the your or your child's age, you can grow more bone by stimulating stem cells in the face by simply chewing.

Who thought chewing gum would have such a great use?! ;)

This book has shown me that the health conditions my family and millions of others around the world, the human race, have come about because of our terrible soft western diets.

We are not chewing enough roughage. (Chewy steak or Raw vege anyone?). ;)

This is but one cause of a small mouth cavity....
..which leads onto mouth breathing......which leads onto poor sleep (insomnia), heart problems from poor sleep, respiratory conditions -

all because we have changed our diets, and in a lot of cases were not breastfed and given pureƩ foods.

Besides being a huge breastfeeding advocate, this old-but-new-to-me research shows me how much better baby led weaning is because the baby chomps and sucks food with gums which then sets them up for good mouth muscles, which leads to less mouth breathing which leads to better sleep, less respiratory problems....

And when you think about it, baby led weaning was the way humans would have eaten many many years ago.

And look at how the author of this book grew more bone in his face!!!! 😲

It takes 7 years to fully replace every single one of your entire body’s cells.

Make sure you are feeding it right so your future cells are healthy ones!

As a general guide, every day you should get:

- 3 meals a day to regulate circadian rhythms
- 1g of protein per kg of body weight with every meal
- 30mL water per kg of body weight
- complex carbs not simple ones
