Join us for two powerful wisdom and meditation evenings exploring the yogic understanding of death and dying — not as something to fear, but as a doorway into who we truly are and how this shapes how we live, love, and leave.

Chantelle, a long-term meditation teacher, will share her personal experience walking alongside her dad through stage 4 brain cancer, and how yoga’s teachings turned a challenging time into one filled with spiritual care, presence, and love. Her 15 years of practice revealed how mantra meditation becomes the greatest preparation for both living and dying well.

✨ The evening includes:
• Gentle breathwork
• Wisdom talk
• Kirtan mantra meditation
• Community connection & scrumptious vegetarian Italian inspired refreshments (bring on the tiramisu & cannelloni)

This space is for anyone navigating illness, grief, or simply wanting to live more consciously and fearlessly.

Some highlights from my adventures this week as part of my morning routine.

This time in my day is so important to me and over the years I have been consciously working to build better habits (always room to refine)

The past few weeks have been demanding and challenging on many levels.

It's during these time we may find ourselves letting the things that support us physically, mentally/emotionally and spiritually slide , BUT it's in these times we need to lean into practices and rituals even more.

We need clarity and insights to move through the different challenges of life, setting yourself up for your day is essential.

My 4M formula is 🥁

🚶‍♀️Movement: Feel into what your body needs to support balance and mix things up. Movement is medicine.

💆 Massage: Self massage using warm medicated ayurveda oil in the practice of abhyanga takes less than 10 minutes and is so nourishing to the nervous system

📿 Mantra Meditation: immersing yourself in a spiritual experience to start your day has not only an immediate benefits but is gradually cultivating a beautiful spiritual foundation to your life which helps you to live with greater awareness and purpose.

🌳 Mother Nature: Take a moment or some extended time to observe and be outdoor or in a nice nature setting.

These 4Ms are me daily non negotiable for me!

Seeking venue scouts 🕵️‍♀️

Due to some unfortunate circumstances we have been made homeless at one of the community halls we hire regularly for 2026 (long story 🥴)

We are working towards a solution to support all parties involved who have been impacted by this situation which is completely out of our control and neither parties fault.

We urgently need your support too!

The hall, space, venue that is being required to remedy the situation to ensure we can continue to offer the amazing services and community we do needs the following specifications.

✅ Air Con

✅ Any venue between bald hills and Narangba

✅ Must have a stage

✅ Hall needs to be bigger than 15.8 m and 8.4m (as current business as grown out of this space)

✅ Available 6-8:30pm on Mon, Tues or Wed consistently.

If you are connected to any community networks, schools or personally use venues that fit these specifications then please reach out with any leads you may have.

MANGO MINT SALSA

This recipe is inspired by the abundance of mangoes coming into season and some beautiful locally grown fresh mint that was recently given to us. It is zesty and refreshing, if you love mangoes, definitely give it a go!

Have it with a meal or on it's own!

Ingredients:

3 x medium sized mangoes, cut the cheeks off and scoop out the flesh, dice to your preferred size
10 x large mint leaves, finely sliced
1 x tablespoon freshly grated ginger
Juice of 1 x lemon, or about 2 tablespoons
Pinch salt and pepper

Mix together!

Still basking in the afterglow..

Our hearts are overflowing from our recent Kirtan evening at Bunya, what a beautiful night of community chanting.

The space felt like a meditation hug — cosy, candlelit, and filled with peace and connection.

We shared inspiring wisdom and a brand-new kirtan set, that flowed from mellow and heartfelt melodies to joyful, dancing rhythms that lifted everyone to their feet.
The collective chanting was powerful — voices and hearts united, filling the room with such enthusiasm and connection.

Thank you to everyone who came, sang, danced, listened, and shared in the love. Thank you to all our friends who helped to bring this evening together.

Here are a few beautiful moments captured from the night — may they bring back the warmth and joy we all felt together.

What a privilege to guide this day and share in the journey with a fabulous group of ladies.

It was a big day of inner work, new knowledge and experiences, so thankful for how everyone showed up.

So many supportive practices that helped to shift stagnation in the body, mindsets and perspectives.Not to mention all that wonderful inner peace that flowed within from this conscious pause and time to reflect.

Can't wait to bring this new wellness and wisdom offering back for others to experience it in 2026, stay tuned 🙌

We feel very happy your journey has led you to discover our classes and offering; giving you access to a variety of ways to improve your health and wellness in the convenient locations of Suburbia Brisbane.

Amit and Chantelle have been leading a Yoga Lifestyle for over 8 years and sharing the gift of yoga in different community settings; from corporate seminars and classes, workshops, retreats, Universities and studio classes. You will find this dynamic duo laid back and very passionate about all things yoga, especially Kirtan meditation and helping people to establish a home practice in order to really experience the amazing benefits of this timeless wisdom in their daily life.

Classes at Everton Park yoga are suitable for beginners to intermediate; with different variations and alignment guidance given. Each class takes you on a journey starting with connection to breath, moving into yoga postures (Asanas) and ending with relaxation and meditation. You will leave feeling energized, yet grounded with an sense of inner peace and clarity of mind.
