Didn’t expect that on the bingo card for 2025, so I bought myself $4 discount flowers 😂
Now that our weekly members have been officially notified, I am able to update our online community (in case you were hoping to join in on some playful practices over the holidays).
Unfortunately, due to health circumstances I am having to finish up our Yoga Term a few weeks early, and my work commitments
I want to thank you for your support this year. For every moment you showed up for yourself. For the laughter, the softness, the trust, and the way you’ve let this community become a place to land, laugh, and be held in our humanness. The member messages and emails coming through have honestly overwhelmed me (in the gooey-est ways), and I want to remind you that I had little to do with the changes in your life because… YOU did all that. Yes, you… 😘
While this is not the ending I imagined for our term (I was so excited planning our annual Christmas Yoga celebrations - it’s my jam!) I’m holding onto hope that this quiet pause is simply creating space for brighter beginnings in 2026. Either than or I might stop treating my body like a temple because it’s not working 🤣😆
Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and your kindness as I navigate the next month or so. I’ll be fine. I’ve rebuilt SO many times before, and I’m not afraid of doing it again (okay, maybe a little bit).
I’m already looking forward to the day we roll out our mats together again (hopefully in Feb), eat snacks, scream into the void when life is mental, and rejoice when things are simply magic!
Squishy cuddles,
L ###
Here is one of my favourite quotes from the year that was. Maybe it lands for you?
“When the old ache arrives, I remind it that we live differently now. We eat, we rest, we ask for help. We do not build altars to what hurt us. We build mornings around sunlight and the sound of our own name said kindly. The ache learns its place, and I learn mine”
