CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR'S OPENING HOURS

We are just sending you an update on our Christmas & New Year's opening hours for 2025/26.

We are thrilled to inform you that we will be open throughout the Christmas & New Year's period with closure on the public holidays and some select days. We understand that pain and injury does not go on holiday while we all do so we are mindful of continuing to help you all throughout this time. Our altered hours are from Monday 22nd December 2025 to Saturday 10th January 2026 with normal hours resuming from Monday 12th January 2026. Our osteos Tom and Lauren will be available in this time while Tim and Emily will be taking a well-earned break.

Here is a list of our opening hours for clarity (which can be found updated on Google under Special Hours):

- Monday 22nd December 2025 = Closed (Staff Christmas Event)

- Tuesday 23rd December 2025 = 9am - 5pm

- Wednesday 24th December 2025 (Christmas Eve) = 9:30am - 4pm

- Thursday 25th December 2025 (Christmas Day) = Closed

- Friday 26th December 2025 (Boxing Day) = Closed

- Saturday 27th December 2025 = Closed

- Monday 29th December 2025 = 9:30am - 8pm

- Tuesday 30th December 2025 = 12pm - 8pm

- Wednesday 31st December 2025 (New Year's Eve) = 10am - 4pm

- Thursday 1st January 2026 (New Year's Day) = Closed

- Friday 2nd January 2026 = 10am - 6pm

- Saturday 3rd January 2026 = 9am - 12pm

- Monday 5th January 2026 = 12pm - 8pm

- Tuesday 6th January 2026 = 10am - 6pm

- Wednesday 7th January 2026 = 9am - 12:30pm

- Thursday 8th January 2026 = 12pm - 8pm

- Friday 9th January 2026 = 10am - 6pm

- Saturday 10th January 2026 = 9am - 12pm

*Monday 12th January 2026 to resume opening hours as per normal.

As many of you may know, our director Tim has been involved as a Strength & Conditioning Coach at the Western Bulldogs across the last 2 years and particularly with the VFL this season.

On Sunday the Footscray Bulldogs won the 2025 VFL Premiership which was a huge achievement by the club and as you can see, Tim was pretty happy about it!

STEIGEN SOCKS STOCKED UP!

We have just stocked up all of our products in clinic including the very popular Steigen socks!

Ask anyone that wears these how much they love them (including our staff) as they are made of lycra and nylon with the ability to wick moisture away from your feet and structured to reduce rubbing so they are very comfy for running, walking, cycling or every day use especially in the warmer months! They are also available in many different colours, heights and even some for bigger feet or kids which you can see in the recent picture here or via Steigen's website.

We are of course here to help you all with pain, injury, prevention and performance goals and not here to go all sales-like on products so if you like the idea of these please reach out or come into the clinic to try some on either at your next appointment or at your leisure during our opening hours.

WELCOME TOM!

We are excited to welcome Tom on-board our team here at Ranges Osteopathy and Performance!

Tom is a registered osteopath who's passion for the profession began after a personal sports injury in high school, where he experienced the value of osteopathic care during his recovery period. Tom enjoys connecting with patients and takes a wholistic approach to treatment, blending hands-on techniques such as massage, mobilisation and manipulation with tailored rehabilitation strategies. While he enjoys helping people from all walks of life, he has a particular interest in working with sports and active populations, especially basketball and football, and is excited to develop specific management and rehabilitation strategies to support athletes in these areas.

Tom starts Monday 15th September 2025 and will be offering after-hours times for those who cannot attend during our usual hours, where appointments can be made until 8pm at night. BIG NEWS FOR OUR DIRECTOR AND FAMILY!

After the most challenging 6 weeks ever for our director, Tim, and his family without the incredible Casey at home and in hospital, the family are thrilled to announce the arrival of Max James McCormick who was born at 11:05pm 28th May 2025 weighing 1.565kg.

Max has had a rough start to life and had many unstable and stressful moments when he came into our world but he is stable and has been for the last week where things are improving. Casey is well!

His older siblings Molly, Beau and Lucy love him very much, as do his mum and dad, and they are very excited to have their little brother. Max is still in hospital and will be for the next 6 weeks but it’s the hest place for him at this stage of his life.

Tim, Casey and the family are so grateful and lucky to have such incredibly supportive family and friends in their life that have done so much over the last 7 weeks to make this all possible. Thank you also to all of our amazing clients for their kind wishes and offers of support as well!

TIM HAS REACHED A HIGHER LEVEL AS A STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH!

We are excited to inform you all that our Director/Owner, Tim, has reached a higher level as a Strength and Conditioning coach and is now officially a dual professional alongside his title as an Advanced Sports Osteopath.

This achievement adds to his recent Graduate Certificate in Strength and Conditioning in 2024 and he continues to ply his craft at the Western Bulldogs now as a VFL Strength and Conditioning Coach in addition to his usual roles as an Osteopath/Strength and Conditioning Coach at the Gisborne Football Netball Club, teaching osteopathy at Victoria University, leading us here at Ranges Osteopathy and Performance and of course being at home with his amazing wife and kids.

WELCOME OUR NEWEST OSTEO EMILY!!!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Emily will be joining our team at Ranges Osteopathy and Performance as our newest osteo! She will be starting next week on Thursdays and Fridays for the first few weeks of her tenure including later appointments on the Thursday.

Emily is a registered osteopath who has completed her Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and her Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University.

Emily is passionate about helping people overcome injuries and reach their optimal potential by using a combination of hands-on treatment techniques including massage, joint manipulations (where appropriate) and cupping alongside exercise rehab, to ensure sustainable results. She also focuses on working alongside her patients addressing lifestyle factors that often contribute to pain and injuries, such as sleep, recovery, ergonomic set-ups and stress to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Emily has worked in a variety of settings, including the Bacchus Marsh Cobras footy club, Karate Victoria, and the Sacred Heart Mission. This has given her exposure to a wide variety of acute sporting injuries and from that, the ability to apply effective evidence-based care.

In her spare time away from the clinic, Emily loves hitting the gym and pushing her limits with powerlifting. When she’s not lifting weights, you can find her exploring the great outdoors on camping trips or hiking adventures with her furry sidekick, Lexi. She also has a passion for travel, always on the lookout for her next exciting destination!

Emily is ecstatic to be joining the team and looks forward to meeting you all!
