It’s so easy to get caught up in the "Me" show. We spend so much time asking, "Lord, show me MY path," or "What’s the best thing for ME?" that we forget the most powerful position we can take is one of humility.
John the Baptist had the ultimate platform. He had the crowds and the influence, yet when the religious authorities questioned him, he refused to elevate himself. He didn't claim a title or seek the spotlight. Instead, he identified as a "voice"—a pointer to something much greater than himself.
John knew exactly who he was, and more importantly, who he wasn’t.
The Challenge:
True leadership is defined by clarity of purpose, not recognition. When we lower ourselves, we actually give more power to our witness.
As you go about your week, try shifting the prayer from "Bless my plans" to "Lord, let Your will be done." We aren't here to gather followers for ourselves; we’re here to prepare the way for Him.
Drop a "🙏" if you're choosing to lead with humility today!
