Hi! My name is Tracey and I am the face behind Thrive Together Co. Working with children and their families to improve their relationships with themselves and each other is my passion. My speciality is working in the paediatric sector, coaching and supporting children to live their best lives based on their own personal goals. I have a an individualised skill set as I have personal lived experience as a mumma of a child who has Adhd, Autism and a child who has ADHD and EDS. I have 15 years experience as primary school teacher, and 2 years experience as a homeschooling facilitator, 2 years working as an allied health assistant and a 2 years experience in the support industry. What a glorious moment caught on camera- the moment he conquered the skill of lighting a fire using flint! Maxy is our little adventurer! He is a hands on learner who has thrived in a learning environment that is safe, skills based and based on what he wishes to learn. The level of frustration was high when he released this skill was not going to be quick to master. He had to problem solve, persevere, ask for assistance, listen to advice, learn in a self motivated manner and in the end this is was the end result!! Go Maxy!

Brody’s interest in money grew from a little chat we were having whilst snuggling in our hammock. His interest was sparked, his curiosity naturally grew and he wanted to know more about money. Such a rich, connected learning experience that will serve him. There was no stress, resistance, pressure or expectations. What naturally occurred is that Brody investigated the shapes, sizes and value of coins and notes. Together we ordered coins and notes according to their value, counted his pocket money, made amounts of money using different combinations, discussed the purpose of money, saving, spending and budgeting which is all connected to the Australian Curriculum and his home learning plan which is based on life skills. Learning should not be stressful - it should be fun and meaningful 🥰
