Our take on the “this is who” baby trend!
Can you guess your OT?

We feel so incredibly lucky that these little people grew up to become Occupational Therapists. The work they do goes far beyond play, sessions, and resources. It’s in the confidence they help build, the families they support, and the small everyday changes that can create generational impact over time.

Helping children thrive doesn’t just shape the child in front of us, it can shape homes, relationships, routines, and futures too. And that is something really special.

We love our team and the care, creativity, and heart they bring to this work every day 🤍

Meet Abbey! Our New Occupational Therapist 🌈

We asked Abbey a few fun questions so you can get to know her a little better!

What age do you love working with?
I enjoy working with all ages, but I have a special interest in early intervention supports – helping little people build big skills!

What experience do you bring to the team?
I’ve worked in community paediatrics and child & youth mental health, completed my new graduate year last year, and have 18 months’ experience as a Therapy Assistant.

How would you describe your therapy style? Very child-led and play-based! I love building skills within the activity or game the child chooses – therapy should feel fun and meaningful.

Favourite therapy tools?
Headphones, slime, weighted items, and sensory tools! I love noticing the small (and big!) changes in how our bodies feel.

Fun fact about you?
I play the guitar and piano!

What do you love doing outside of work? Knitting, crochet, and Pilates.

We are so excited for 2026!
We’re back, the year is underway, and it’s great to be reconnecting with families and clients.

We’re currently running intensives and group programs, with regular sessions commencing next week.

Our approach is simple and intentional:
Don’t fit a child into a box, make the box fit the child.

Every child brings their own strengths, needs, interests and ways of engaging with the world. Therapy works best when we honour that individuality and design the environment, supports and expectations around the child. Not the other way around 😊💚
