Naomi Huxley and Corbin are part of our Little Bean family. If you can help in anyway please reach out to the guys at Surf for Kids or alternatively donate via their donate button on their webpage.
🌊 Can you help us help a local family?
Naomi, a single mum, is currently undergoing intensive cancer treatment while caring for her 8-year-old son, Huxley, who has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair.
The family has recently been told they need to move from their current rental home in Currimundi. Naomi has found a new property in Little Mountain, but with her health and Huxley’s care needs, the process of packing, moving, and cleaning is understandably overwhelming — and they need to be out within the next 2½ weeks.
Surf for Kids — a local not-for-profit with over 20 years of community backing (formerly TBM) — is reaching out to our amazing network for support.
We’re hoping to partner with a couple of generous local businesses who can donate their services to make this move possible for the McMahon family:
• Professional Removalist (to pack, move, and unpack)
• Bond Cleaning Service
If you or someone you know could help, please reach out as soon as possible. 🙏
In return for your kindness, Surf for Kids will recognise your business across all our channels — including social media, newsletters, and supporter updates — shining a light on your incredible community generosity.
Let’s rally together, Sunshine Coast 💙🙏
