APAC CEO of the Year Nomination

Unfortunately I cannot proceed at this time but I greatly appreciate the recognition and nomination. I am already committed to a number of projects this year, for this reason I am not able to commit to the nominee process.

A very personal project is advocating for the members of the Tourette Syndrome Association of Australia to gain access to the NDIS. Currently individuals with a primary diagnosis of Tourette Syndrome are not eligible for funding. This is due to a number of bureaucratic mistakes which we are seeking to rectify. Today I attended a town hall meeting with Bill Shorten and was able to successfully make my point and have been given details to communicate further with the Minister and his office. This is significant progress for our community.

✨That’s a wrap on business events for 2023✨

This morning I attended the Christmas Breakfast for Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network, we were fortune enough to hear from regional director of OzHarvest the inspiring Michelle Lipner. She shared the incredible work done by Oz Harvest and some of her extensive experience as Mission Chief, for the UN, working in war torn regions and disaster zones around the globe.

When I asked my kids for suggestions on what to buy for the giving tree supporting Laurel Place , not only did they share their thoughts but their own hard earned money. Each buying a gift for a child their age.

I joined the SCBWN in April this year. After years of professional networking on a national and international level, speaking on stages around Australia in front of thousands, you might be surprised to hear that walking into a room full of strangers was incredibly difficult and daunting.

This year has been filled with extreme challenges both personally and professionally. Restructuring our two companies into 7 divisions, of the Platinum Pinnock Enterprises Group of Companies, was a mammoth undertaking. Taking it on whilst homeschooling one child with Tourette’s Syndrome, and another recovering from a sport induced brain injury, was not part of the plan. I am beyond thankful to the women in this organisation who took the time to say hello, smile, wave, share their stories and listen to mine. I showed up to every event exhausted, emotional and overwhelmed. They lifted me, inspired me and encouraged me. Their successes has helped me to return to my best, I can’t wait for them to meet the real me in 2024.

Please note that for the first time ever we are taking a break for Christmas as are our administrative, IT and warehouse teams for the following divisions.

INÒU
Australian Fire & First Aid
Simply Training
The Functional Tea Company

We will be closed from December 21 to January 4th.

P.A.S. sites will continue to trade and have customer service during this period excluding public holidays.

🎄 MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎅🏻
