🎉 Happy Vet Practice Manager Appreciation Week AND Happy Birthday to our amazing Tracy! 🎉
This week we celebrate the incredible work that practice managers do… and today we get to celebrate our superstar even more! 💙
Tracy is the calm in the chaos, the brains behind the scenes, the one who keeps us organised, supported, and always laughing. Our clinic simply wouldn’t run without her dedication, kindness, and the heart she brings to every single day.
Please join us in wishing Tracy the happiest birthday and a HUGE thank-you for everything she does for our team, our clients, and of course all of our furry patients. 🐾✨
Have an amazing day, Tracy, we appreciate you more than you know! 🎂💐💙

Beautiful Bella - the 10 year old Fox Terrier is still needing a home 🐾🙏
We need to get this sweet girl into a home as a priority.
Bella will be a permanent foster dog which means all of her vet care will be covered by 4Paws for life. You must reside on the Sunshine Coast and be willing to take her to her vet appointments at Nicklin Way Veterinary Surgery
Bella has been a very much loved girl with a sweet and gentle nature. She's very affectionate and used to a quiet life and having someone home with her on a regular basis. Ideally she would love to go to a new forever home offering similar living arrangements.
Bella hasn't lived with another dog before so we'd suggest an only pet household for her.
Let's get Bella home 💖

Life is busy, we get it! Plus pets get sick on the weekend or need last minute vaccinations or a medication check. Not everyone can come in on a weekday and that's why we’re open on weekends for you and your pets. We're open from 9am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday for routine care plus urgent and emergency care. Or you can call in for all your food, worming, and flea/tick preventatives. We're here to help!
🐾Sometimes due to emergency cases we may need to delay or reschedule routine care appointments. We thank you for your understanding that life threatening cases need to be seen first.🐾

Keep your fur babies safe in this hot weather!
🚨 Hot weather warning! 🚨
With high temperatures across the east coast of Australia this week, knowing how to keep your pet safe from the heat has never been more important. Whether they’re in cars, on the back of utes, or outside without enough shade and water, heat can kill and cause life-threatening heatstroke.
🚗 Never leave your animal unattended in a car.
Even on mild days, the temperature inside a parked car can become dangerously hot within minutes, even in the shade or with windows down. If you’re heading out, take your animal with you or leave them safely at home.
☀️ Hot surfaces = big risks.
The heat risks don’t just apply to cars; the surface of tray-back utes can get extremely hot too. Animals left on the back without shade and water are at serious risk of burns, heat stress or even death.
💧 Keep them cool:
• Always provide plenty of fresh water and shade
• Walk your dog early in the morning or late in the evening when it’s cool
• Bring pets indoors where it is cool (aircon or fans help!)
• Small pets like rabbits, guinea pigs and birds should be kept in cool, well-ventilated areas away from direct sunlight
• Remember pets can get sunburnt too, especially those with light or thin coats.
🚨If you suspect an animal is suffering from heatstroke, move them to a cool, shaded area, apply room temperature or cool water to their body, offer water if they are aware and able to drink and swallow safely, and seek veterinary attention immediately.
If you see an animal left alone in a car and showing signs of heatstroke, call the Police (000) or contact your local RSPCA.
Let’s keep our pets safe - no matter the temperature❤️
