As we approach Christmas Day I’m aware that this will be my daughter’s first Xmas, making it extra special.

Edie handled her first meeting with Santa very well. She kept tugging on poor Santa’s beard, which he tolerated very well.

It’s also nice having some downtime so we can swim in the saltwater pool at Kings Beach every day. Next year we’ll resume Sensory Play, Mums and Bubs Yoga, Rackleys Swimming Lessons etc.

Hi friends, you nay have noticed I’m not posting as much as I used to.

I’ve been staying off my phone as much as possible and only posting on social media and not checking my news feed. I’m also not watching any television (apart from music on you tube) You know the biggest thing I’ve noticed? Kindness! People offering to take photos for strangers, loved up husbands and wives, children coming up to me to see Edie, people smiling at us for no real reason. Kindness! I’ve noticed how beautiful and kind so many people are. Happy.

Yesterday my tech was playing up and the internet kept dropping out as I was trying to google something while pushing Edie along the beach front in her pram. So I put my phone away and looked up and saw a lady wearing a t shirt with the logo ‘have a fantastic day’ I would have missed it if my tech was working.

Then I was sitting under the night sky with my cat the other night and something told me to look up and right then, an owl flew silently over my head. Incredible. Imagine all the experiences you could be missing 🤔 💚❤️

I can’t recommend this book series enough. I found it at Kunara Organic Marketplace. It’s all about Fairies and crystals and a kid having a rough day at school and how best to deal with that 🧚 Olivia Helps The Crystal Fairies. We need more books like this one. I can’t wait til Edie is old enough to understand the messages ❤️💚🩷🧡

My bubba is getting around with a wheely walker now and, as such, she came across my book shelf. I spotted a particular book and pulled it off the shelf to show Edie. Then I looked at it and was like ‘I don’t think I’ve seen this book before’.

So I started reading and BOOM!! It is so beautifully written and thought provoking. It was written by two men for their children. I photographed a couple of pages so you can see.

As you know, I’ve been working through some stuff, and this book is just what I needed. I read it before bed every night and it’s the perfect way to wind down ⛅️ 📕
