For ten days I will be immersed in daily satsang and meditation, entering into a field of deep silence and unwavering stillness & selfless service.

When I first submitted my application, the only thing that felt true was to simply give thanks. To express my abundance of gratitude for the directness of Mooji’s pointings that has walked with me daily for the past seven years. Gratitude alone was the seed of my invitation, now reflecting as a yes to this spontaneous next step.

I have never encountered another human being with such uncompromising clarity, pointing beyond personal identification to the pure awareness that cannot be seen, that which you can be. (Free of religion, dogma and ideas of god)

This invitation has reminded me of the devotion that threads through my own practice, my daily life, and the work I get to share with clients and community. Self Enquiry really is the gift that keeps giving, a flame lighting the way back to our natural state of being.

It’s also the first time in ten year,
since going all in on my business,
that I’ve travelled overseas. With October marking my ten-year business anniversary, the timing feels ripe. I haven’t been back to Europe since living in London, so it feels like closing a big chapter. Got to dust the passport off and let the great unfolding begin. 🙏✈️🤍

Can you meet this moment like a child discovering a feather floating in the wind?

Can you hold it with such reverence and curiosity, not to fix, grasp, or change it, but simply to witness it as it is?

Can you bring that same gentle attention when Life doesn’t meet your preferences? When it doesn’t unfold the way your mind wanted it to?

Can you be with the shoulds and shouldn’ts, the unresolved needs and unmet wants, the judgements that arise, without buying into them?

Can you tune into the subtle edges of control, the ripple of shame or blame, the ache of insecurity or the fear of loss and not become them?

Can you softly and willingly take these thoughts and feelings to enquiry, not to get rid of it, but to free yourself from the suffering that comes when you resist what is?

Can you disidentify with the feather that’s arrived and the personal nature of the wind that carries it?

Because the mind is like the wind… and your preferences, your thoughts, your reactions like feathers caught in its current.

Try to resist reality and it’s like being a kite trying to control the wind. Futile, exhausting and impossible. This is the survival mind at play, innocently doing its best to protect you.

But when you rest back as the one witnessing the whole play… suddenly, there’s no problem.

Just Life, itself, and the perfume of freedom

One of the golden threads in “I Need Your Love, Is That True?” by Byron Katie is the radical invitation to question our most deep-seated beliefs about love, approval and connection that affect our intimate relationships

It mirrors so beautifully my work of dismantling Survival based narratives driving the need to be liked, wanted or validated by others and reveals how this need creates suffering, distortion and self-abandonment.

It gets to the root of - what gets In The way of love which is, when people ask me what I do, is often a way I describe it.

Because it’s a removal process, not an adding process.

Rather than offering techniques to get love, this book and our Self Enquiry process invites you to see that the love you long for is already yours, once the veil of false beliefs is lifted and your capacity to be with uncomfortable feelings grow.

“Personalities don’t love, they want something”

This is the only relationship book I recommend for my clients, because it’s not pitching you techniques and “trying” for something , it’s giving you the invitation to shift the quality your intimate relationship from the inside out ❤️

Who can relate? 😜

We’ve all been there, jumping in to fix, rescue or give advice before it’s even asked for.

It can be a sticky pattern to come out of. Because… it’s vulnerable to just BE there with someone. Open. Listening.

It’s uncomfortable to witness the feelings that they may activate in you too.

To let go of the identity that wants to feel needed, helpful or of value.

But this shift, from rescuing to simply being with the other (not trying to change or fix) is where real connection lives.

This is the work, to disidentify with the limiting beliefs of the survival mind that cause suffering and grow our capacity to be with uncomfortable feelings that drive emotional reactivity 💪🏽 let’s take it to Enquiry!

Everything is waiting for you

Your great mistake is to act the drama
as if you were alone. As if life
were a progressive and cunning crime
with no witness to the tiny hidden
transgressions. To feel abandoned is to deny
the intimacy of your surroundings. Surely,
even you, at times, have felt the grand array;
the swelling presence, and the chorus, crowding
out your solo voice. You must note
the way the soap dish enables you,
or the window latch grants you freedom.
Alertness is the hidden discipline of familiarity.
The stairs are your mentor of things
to come, the doors have always been there
to frighten you and invite you,
and the tiny speaker in the phone
is your dream-ladder to divinity.

Put down the weight of your aloneness and ease into the
conversation. The kettle is singing
even as it pours you a drink, the cooking pots
have left their arrogant aloofness and
seen the good in you at last. All the birds
and creatures of the world are unutterably
themselves. Everything is waiting for you.
