Hi, my name is Jo Distefano and I am the founder of Evolving Connections Counselling. I am passionate about relationships because they are essential to health and well-being. After spending thousands of hours working with amazing people, I have learnt that there is a hunger and drive for knowledge and internal development. Having worked extensively with clients as individuals and in relationships I have seen that human beings are motivated to discover meaningful ways of living so that they can thrive in their lives and with others. My experience has shown me that people are capable of continuously evolving and that healthy connections to others is a fundamental human need. A Change In Our Story

And suddenly you just know...It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of new beginnings - Meister Eckhart

Hi, my name is Jo Distefano and I am the founder of The Avenue. Drawing on the experience and learning I have gained over the past eight years, I am expanding my remit. As such, I will be including relationship counselling for individuals, couples and families and running strengths-based support groups as part of my ongoing services. Of course, my work with loss and grief will continue to be integral to my practice. Other than this, the most obvious difference will be the change in name of my FB page from The Avenue Grief and Loss Counselling Service to Evolving Connections Counselling. Evolving Connections will continue to assist you in managing the challenges of loss and grief and the aim, as always, will be to strive for a heightened awareness of Self to facilitate a broader outlook and a stronger approach to change.

In addition to all of this, there will now be regular blogs, videos and additional information uploaded to my website as well as continuing to provide my regular posts on FB.

Thank you for your ongoing support and staying with me throughout the years.
