🎃 This week in kindy yoga, the children enjoyed telling me what they are dressing up as for Halloween. 👻

It’s incredible how much this tradition has taken off in Australia.

When I was a kid, my best friend and I dressed up and went knocking on neighbour’s doors and had to explain what “trick or treat” was! No one was prepared- we were given an apple, biscuits from the cupboard; some cake and some random lollies people had lying around! 🙊

Don’t underestimate the capability that little people have to learn calm tools. This three year old brought so much mindfulness and concentration to playing the sound bowl and nailed it first time!

In our “N” class as part of our alphabet series, the kindy children enjoyed being taught “nest” pose (“bow” pose) by 🐻

“Look at how big my muscles are” 💪🏻
“We are having lasagne for lunch” 🍝
and …
“That is the first time we have seen your feet since winter” (when I took my socks off). 🦶🏻🧦 😂
