Progression to the final expression of Eka Pada Urdhva Dhanurasana (one legged bow pose) as seen in plate 501 & 502 in BKS Iyengars “Light on Yoga”.

Perhaps it should be called the “one arm and one legged bow pose” 😉

The first variation is challenging enough i.e. raising one leg… but then add in raising one arm and balance becomes an issue. Here, the wall is my friend 🤩

The sequence involves some standing poses, twists and forward bends, along with headstand and shoulder stand. We finish up with supported Setu Bandha Sarvangasana (bridge pose) and Savasana (co**se pose).
