Preparing for the last trip of 2025. Cars have been cleaned once again by Total Detailing Solutions: thank you Bill for your incredible service this year.

Having a vehicle that gets us from clinic and home again is so important, and a huge shout out to Sunbury Tyrepower, Ararat Tyrepower and Tyrepower Swan Hill for the fast and efficient tyre repairs and replacement this year. Pot holes are many in our travels, and for me, have been more dangerous than wildlife on the roads this year.

The decision today is which car…. They have names 😂🤣😂

There is no recommendation in this country to have skin checks unless you are “high risk”. Without being out in the areas I service it would seem that some think annual checks are a waste.

This patient attended 18 months ago, and put his follow up appointment off by 6 months this year. Thankfully he has had a follow up this week, where a suspected melanoma was found, and excised.

This is why, when you ask me how often you should have a check, I recommmend annually (sometimes more often depending on your risk factors).

Another life saved (local HCP had advised this was nothing to be concerned about).

That’s a wrap for Skin Checks and Dermatology in Portland for 2025. A HUGE thank you to Margaret at Portland Health Hub for allowing me to run my skin cancer and dermatology clinics from the fabulous rooms there. The flexibility with hours at these rooms, means servicing the community in the south west of Victoria can be extended when required for urgent cases.

I’ll be back March, June, September and December next year, heading into my 8th year of travelling from Melbourne to the beautiful place that is Portland 🩵🥰🕵🏻‍♀️👩🏼‍⚕️👩🏼‍💻

Another fabulous week in Swan Hill with skin checks and dermatology consultations. I love working out of my permanent room and love that YOU all love the room! It really does have the most gorgeous views.
