With Ken Halliday at a special dinner hosted by the Governor-General!

Ken is Australia's former BC3 boccia coach and one of the best BC3 coaches in the world! Boccia is one of the most inclusive sports globally and BC3 boccia athletes use a ramp with the help of a ramp assistant or operator to compete.

Joining our first World Boccia Challenger event was definitely one of our highlights last year!

From mid-2026, there will be big NDIS changes to be rolled out. Here are other important information about the updates.

📌 Within the next 4 years, all NDIS participants will move to new framework plans. The new framework plans is a way of making NDIS plans more fairer, simpler, and more person‑centred.

📌 Support needs assessment is a structured conversation with a trained assessor to understand a participant’s daily life and support needs. The assessor creates a report that informs the participant’s NDIS plan and budget under the new framework.

There are some big NDIS changes to be rolled out from mid-2026. As an NDIS participant, here are some of the updates that you need to know and prepare for.

📌 I-CAN (Instrument for Classification and Assessment of Support Needs) is a person-and strengths-based tool used to identify the disability-related supports a person needs. It will form the basis of the new Support Needs Assessment

📌 Appeal rights will be affected. If a participant challenges their plan, the ART (Administrative Review Tribunal) cannot change the plan anymore. At most the tribunal will order the agency to conduct another assessment.
