Funeral Director and Celebrant. We work in partnership with Picaluna Beautiful Funerals. We provide services all across Sydney.

Picaluna is a
community of like minded people, helping families to create more authentic,
compassionate and affordable cremations, burials and memorials. Picaluna felt that there was a much better way to conduct funerals, and are
changing the way funerals are done for the better. This change is underpinned
by their core purpose to help communities to honour, mourn, celebrate, heal
and rejuvenate. Picaluna also chooses to donate 5% of their Service Fee to a
charity of the family’s choice. The Picaluna partnership supports us in the logistics required to arrange and
conduct a funeral; including transfers, registering the death with Births, Deaths
& Marriages, access to a vast range of suppliers, mortuary care, and invoicing. This allows us to spend more time with you, crafting and delivering a
personalised ceremony, authentic to the one you loved. At Pittwater Funerals, we will support you and your family every step of the way through the funeral process. Our focus is to ensure that your loved one is given a beautiful and unique farewell - customised to reflect their own personal style.

At Pittwater Funerals, we are experienced with coordinating evening vigils. An 'apō is a Tongan evening vigil held during the funeral period. Family and community gather to mourn, sing, and share stories. It is a significant traditional practice, often involving the wearing of taʻovala (traditional dress) and black clothing.

It is an honour to support the Pacific Island community. At Tongan burials as part of honouring the their loved one a funeral procession takes place. It is often led by a brass band playing farewell songs and hymns as they lead the procession of family members and those who are significant to the deceased to the burial site. It is a beautiful and respectful process.

Families who I support after the loss of their baby often speak with concern about their leave from work. Thank you to Priya's parents for being so brave and campaigning for this change. After working as a celebrant or funeral director at Rookwood Memorial Gardens I always visit my grandparents at their final resting place. My grandfather's funeral was the first funeral where I read a eulogy and my grandmother's funeral was the first funeral where I was the celebrant. When I visit them I quietly reflect on their influence on my life.

I was honoured to be the celebrant to celebrate the life of a special lady who was adored by her family and friends and gave so much back to the community. She was remembered by a large group of over 350 people who loved and respected her. Heartfelt tributes from family and friends were shared along with beautiful singing from local choirs. There were bright daffodils in the room in memory of her friendly and cheerful nature. She has left an amazing legacy.

These flowers were fun and unique! Sparkly disco balls were placed among beautiful Waratah flowers to remember a man who loved 1980s music, enjoyed many fun times with family and friends and had a wonderful, happy smile.

These wonderful spring flowers were beautiful and smelt lovely too, they matched perfectly with the wicker coffin chosen to farewell an adored woman who had a very happy life. Tributes at her funeral reminded us to have a positive outlook, keep learning through-out our lives and to always look on the bright side!

Last week we held a funeral in the Lotus Pavilion, at Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium, part of . The Lotus Pavilion is a special venue. It is an open-air chapel set in beautiful, tranquil gardens, perfect for large gatherings. It provides a private and peaceful space for services of all faiths, comfortably seating up to 100 people. Sometimes we have a visit from resident birds with kookaburras, ,magpies and ducks visiting in ceremonies we have conducted there.

The beautiful Spring flowers are blooming at the cemeteries and crematoriums across Sydney including these bright flowers at Northern Suburbs Crematorium. We post this in memory of a young man who is gone too soon, memories of him live on in the hearts and minds of his family and friends.

You were kind, warm, and flexible adapting to every change with grace, right up until the moment we walked our grandfather into the chapel. Your availability and smooth communication made a difficult time so much easier to navigate.
We were so moved by your service that we felt it only right to invite you back to our home for the feast, a gesture of how much you became part of our journey. I would highly recommend you to anyone, especially Polynesian families seeking someone who can honor their cultural values with respect and heart.

We lit candles at this funeral ceremony in memory of a special man who supported his family with constant love and support. His family placed had an apple here as a symbol of renewal, the cycle of life and the family tree.

This week we supported a family to take their beloved father home for a home vigil. He was then farewelled with a beautiful ceremony that included a powerful haka to welcome him, tributes remembering his sense of humour and finishing with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren singing a farewell song. Such a special way to remember him.
