Funeral Director and Celebrant. We work in partnership with Picaluna Beautiful Funerals. We provide services all across Sydney.

Picaluna is a
community of like minded people, helping families to create more authentic,
compassionate and affordable cremations, burials and memorials. Picaluna felt that there was a much better way to conduct funerals, and are
changing the way funerals are done for the better. This change is underpinned
by their core purpose to help communities to honour, mourn, celebrate, heal
and rejuvenate. Picaluna also chooses to donate 5% of their Service Fee to a
charity of the family’s choice. The Picaluna partnership supports us in the logistics required to arrange and
conduct a funeral; including transfers, registering the death with Births, Deaths
& Marriages, access to a vast range of suppliers, mortuary care, and invoicing. This allows us to spend more time with you, crafting and delivering a
personalised ceremony, authentic to the one you loved. At Pittwater Funerals, we will support you and your family every step of the way through the funeral process. Our focus is to ensure that your loved one is given a beautiful and unique farewell - customised to reflect their own personal style.

We understand that Christmas can be a tough time when you are missing someone you loved. We encourage you to take time to remember them. Share stories and memories of past Christmas celebrations together, enjoy food that they liked, make a donation to charity in their name or light a candle in their memory. Remember their love lives on.

Last week we had the honour of assisting a family with a repatriation to Tonga. Their adored mother and grandmother passed in Sydney but it had been her wish to return to rest in her home country of Tonga. We assisted her family with her dressing and viewing in Sydney before her departure. We coordinated the necessary paperwork and travel arrangements. May she rest in eternal peace.

We are proud to sponsor Twinnies Carols event on 13th December at Paul Keating Park in Bankstown. The event will feature brass bands, solo and group artists, cultural dancing, drumming and food and craft stalls. Come along to this free family event.

The sweet accompanying photo is a teddy bear from his Dad's collection that we had on display at his memorial.

This beautiful coffin was designed by a Māori family as a tribute to their beloved father. We arranged for the coffin to be taken to their family home where they lovingly hand painted the design in the comfort of their own surroundings. This beautiful gesture was part of their healing as they said goodbye.

Avalon Surf Life Saving Club was the ideal location for the memorial of a man who loved the beach. He had a wonderful life with plenty of adventures. His family and friends shared great stories along with a few laughs. A few of his favourite items from his collections were on display. Afterwards mourners ate yum cha, just as he requested. A perfect way to say goodbye.
