Still hungry an hour after eating?

You might need more fibre.

Most people chase protein to stay full, but fibre is the quiet hero here.

It slows digestion, steadies blood sugar, and keeps your gut moving like it should.

That means:

You stay full longer
Fewer energy crashes
Easier bathroom trips

And chickpeas? They’re loaded with it. Just 1 cup has over 12g of fibre. That’s almost half of what most people need in a whole day.

Chickpeas are prebiotic gold and also contain phytoestrogens that support hormonal balance during peri/menopause.

Add in some toasted sourdough, tomatoes, and olive oil, and you’ve got a combo that fills you up without weighing you down.

So if your meals aren’t holding you, don’t just double the protein. Check the fibre. You might be surprised how much of a difference it makes.

Stop letting one unhealthy meal ruin your whole week.

You don’t have to be 100% perfect to see change.

The biggest mistake I see women over 40 make is, throwing in the towel because of one slip-up.

Your body doesn’t need perfection, it needs a pattern.

Had the cake? Enjoyed the wine? Good. Move on. Keep going.

It’s all about consistency, not perfection. 80% healthy, 20% treat. That is how you actually thrive in the long run.

Yep! mid-life has a way of showing up!

This Peanut Honey Tofu isn’t just quick and tasty. It’s built with ingredients that actually support your body through hormonal shifts.

Peanut butter + sesame oil provide healthy fats to support mood and brain health

Packed with almost 20gm protein, keeping blood sugar steady, fewer cravings, better sleep, and more stable energy.

No fancy plan. No perfect macro split.

Just protein, fibre, healthy fats, and ingredients that work with your body, not against it.

Peanut Honey Tofu (serves 4)

1 tbsp. coconut oil

2- 3 bunches broccolini or more

350gm firm tofu

Sauce:
4 T natural peanut butter
2 T tamari or soy sauce
2 T water
5 T honey
1 t sesame oil
½ t chili flakes
1 T grated ginger

Drain the tofu and press between paper towels and plates with a heavy item on top for 30 minutes.

Cut the tofu into ½-inch cubes.

Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

Steam or boil the broccoli until tender, then set aside.

Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the tofu and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned. Add the sauce and stir well.

Remove from heat and serve with the broccoli.

Aging is a natural part of life, ladies! We can't stop the clock entirely, but here's the good news: accelerated aging? That's totally optional.

Many of us are unknowingly doing things daily that put our bodies into 'fast-forward aging' mode. Think dull skin, low energy, stubborn weight gain, and aching joints. Sound familiar?

It's not just about wrinkles! Accelerated aging happens when our cells get stressed, inflamed, and damaged faster than they can repair themselves.

This can be due to diet, chronic stress, lack of quality sleep, or even just sitting too much.

🔸 Am I truly hungry, or is this a habit?

🔸 What am I really craving—nourishment, rest, connection, or a break?

🔸How will I feel after eating this?

🔸 If I were already the healthiest, most energised version of myself, what would she do?

🔸 Will this food fuel my energy, my hormones, my skin, and my well-being? or will I feel crap afterwards?

🔸 What else could support me in this moment—movement, hydration, deep breaths, journaling?

✨ Mindset Shift: Instead of I need something to feel better, try I choose to nourish my body in a way that supports the person I want to become.

✨ Instead of I deserve a treat, try I deserve to feel my best, inside and out.

There’s something magical about starting fresh, isn’t there?🌟

💥A new year is like a blank slate, full of possibilities and the perfect time to set New Years resolutions and goals.

As we step into 2025, many of you are setting health resolutions and dreaming of feeling your best.

And while I’m all for having goals, I’m not so keen on NY’s resolutions.

It’s not the big resolutions that change our lives - it’s the small, intentional habits that we build every day.

The problem is resolutions don’t consider the actions or steps you need to take to make the thing happen.

It’s not the big resolutions that change our lives - it’s the small, intentional habits that we build everyday.

👉🏼Sustainable change starts with daily habits.

It’s not about perfection or restriction; it’s about creating small sustainable habits that align with the person you want to become.🧘🏼‍♂️

🤸🏼‍♀️If you want to lose weight, you should focus on becoming the type of person who moves their body every day.

🥦Focus on becoming the type of person that eats wholefoods, embodying the identity of a healthy person.

Ask yourself, what steps do I need to take to achieve my goal/resolution?

Overhauling your diet is hard, but adding one extra vegetable to each meal is easy.

Set the environment and prepare fruits and veggies in advance.
