✉️ A trip down Poetry lane. ✉️

I’ve been so many women,
And in each of them,
Is a writer.

And so. I’m beginning this year as a word florist.

Writing your dreams in living form, in a poem, you can pop on your desk, stick on your mirror or have in your altar.

[Micro dose on magic.] —— The solstice & seasonality is not another to-do. Especially at this time of year, when our lists feel endless…or we’re just starting to unwind from the beautiful year that was, the last thing we need is to add more.

So may the solstice & changing from one year to the next be about the magic moments in time—and letting that be enough. Letting ourselves, be enough. It is also a promise that an exhale will come in every cycle. I know it’s human nature to always want to evolve and be better, but can we practice acceptance too?

Life is just a series of moments, so fleeting and precious. Sometimes we’re so in the planning, fixing, or actioning our way out of feeling that we miss the beauty that’s here.

One thing I’m trying to take with me into this new year - that I am enough as I am, and I am blossoming, at the same time.

I said to my mentor this week without realising its significance
“I am already who I am…” …as I feel so content in this phase of wedding bliss and also I am changing too, with new art & projects coming next year.

Her response made me tear up = “Honestly, I don’t know another person who is so completely juiced up on life, so utterly excited and alive to the micro-magic that life has to offer. I mean it—I don’t think l’ve ever met anyone as aware of life’s little wonders as you are.” 😭

May you find the magic from micro to gigantic this holiday season and beyond.

….And perhaps prepare a bit of that soul soil, for a new year is around the corner but please not a new you. Because you are awesome. And you can do awesome things with that awesome self, in 2025 too.

I’m coming back into a feeling of lightness. (And of course it’s today right)

It feels SO good to be here with you today because one of my fave days of the year. Happy Beltane or Samhain & New moon in Scorpio. ALSO can we just take a minute for the absolute joy I feel that my Scorpio sun man 🦂 and my Scorpio moon self are getting married in *Scorpio season* 😭 I know so many of you may want to celebrate this with me. 🪐

The last few weeks have been colour[FULL] from dentist trips (my nightmare), delivering devotingly to clients I’m obsessed with on the daily (best women on the planet), to most of all planning the wedding of our dreams on November 16th.

Not ‘posting’ has felt like leaving the tea to steep just a little longer. My darling friend Brit shared an amazing piece with me describing a similar feeling a little and the need for quieter times or stillness (not stagnation) for creativity. It’s called ‘This is not an apology’ by Taylor Gage 🤤 which just from the title has been so reinvigorating for me.

What else has been percolating for me?
CLIFF NOTES EDITION ☕️

- I can do harder things than I thought, especially with the amazing support of my loved ones.

- I don’t have to over-explain myself

- Being in my life and work and not always ‘on’ social media, doesn’t mean I’m not visible, I’m just being seen in different ways.

- I’m so proud that I have built the sustainable, seasonal business I desired from the start. So many women in my community, ‘get’ my spaciousness & embrace their own and it makes it clearer how much timing is there to be trusted not questioned.

- Organising a wedding is no joke and especially if its DIY in the trees like ours, its a full time job lol

- Light/Lightness, is my word anchor for how I want to feel in my wedding season

Serendipity, magnetism & intuition — are they linked? How can we BE the magnet for our joys, our dreams, our wants?

Feeling micro-dosed with joy lately...Jake has surprised me with a trip to Tasmania for my birthday leaving tomorrow (aaahh!!!), my fave native flowers soon-to-be in my wedding bouquet greeted me in my local cafe just as I needed it, and then I saw a giant heart in the sky 2 months out from our wedding day.. 🤌🏼

[You’re a joy magnet Soph] — .prescribed my sunny mentor said. I feel like I’ve set a new default for myself lately, so revived by taking up more space, asking for what I need, accepting presence, active creativity and trusting more AKA answering the call of my intuition.

Bringing tangibility to the intangible is my kind of art form.
— Sooooo here’s the cycle I’ve found —

Intuition is a reciprocal feedback loop between you & life. Your body and physiological responses, as a vehicle of communication. When we listen to our intuition, act on it, & life feels like two way phone call, a co-creation. A cycle is born from our willingness to follow & apply action to what we care about - not just think about.

Dial up your dreams through your move-making and notice as the universe leaves you voicemails you’re ready to receive.

[Important step not to missed - actually receive it too. All the goodness of your life, notice the nectar. You deserve it] You work so hard to bloom, time to be with it. It might not be flowers, trips, new clients or signs in the sky, but life is listening to you.

Life is listening to your truth.I know you know those moments, as if life has heard you (because it has and it does)

I’ve had so many uplifting conversations lately with friends & clients about the incredible things that happen when we fully embrace our authenticity, what we start to see and hear come back to us, and happen FOR us. In-between the crunchy, uncomfortable bits too.

Julia Cameron talks about this her books, namely The Artists Way & The Listening Path (big creative expanders - please order and read if you haven't yet and also are obsessed with anything creative process) ..as the synchronicities in life we notice, are a beacon of our creative self-discovery — often the more we tune into them, the more they appear.

What is life saying to you? even in subtle ways?

Did you get that rental WITH the pool? Noticed the bird your grandma used to smile at visit you on a moody morning? Received the dress you dreamt of for free from a friend? Have people signing up to offering, that's not even out yet? Find your wedding shoes the first pair you try on? (okay that was me) Received a loving message at the right moment?

Speaking your truth is about what you're saying yes and importantly, NO to.

By listening within, we let life listen too, by speaking your truth, life hears you loud and clear =
The hugely creative act of living.

I see a lot of beautiful creative, deeply passionate women, waiting for the perfect moment. Because we care so deeply. Let’s this well known phrase and rewild it together…because that perfect timing ‘when X or Y’ happens can easily slip away, but ‘how’ is actionable, strategic, and grounded in the present.

Timing is important & this isn’t to say rushing is the answer but instead of focusing on when, HOW you can contribute to your vision today?��Increase cycle optimisation
Increase contribution
Increase pleasure

Be present with what phase you are in, feel it, soak it in. But be smart, and know when to move to the next. Harnessing a new seasons or cycle, planning accordingly makes way for momentum.

I hear (see & also feel) that our external circumstances can be a recurring barrier to momentum, BUT the vision you’re holding exists in HOW you are today. Bring it into the present through contribution. This means, devotion to deliberate action. Some days that will be big, somedays small.

Lastly why are we trying to do something if not for the pleasure & life artistry of it? The joy? Rather than waiting for the when of inspiration, how you can create the conditions for your creativity to thrive now? Book, podcast, deep friends chats, a hug, I know you know.

Take my 3 next best step structure & apply it to your vision, your project, your day.

Here we move from ‘when’ to the ‘how’, as a woman *interconnected* with her life, creativity & business.

Take do not disturb sign on the door off the your dreams, you’re too phenomenal.

Hello my loves, you may or may not have noticed that I haven’t been here much for nearly a month🫶🏼🫶🏼I want to share with you why.

Life is messy = life is art.

I’ve been ‘all in’ where life’s needed me. I’ve been serving my community through my offerings as they’ve expanded, planning my wedding to my dream man in the forest 🌳 , west coast family trips ✈️ , wearing my new fluffy leopard print bucket hat 🐆 discovering more about (my) neurodivergence 🧠 , beside heartache in friendships ❤️‍🩹 . Mostly though, it’s been a time of rich, meaningful work, calling me forward as teacher in [Space-Holder] Training which has been so incredible, besides creative mentoring & designing.

As women, mothers, lovers, founders…we can find ourselves pulled in different directions, the undulating dance of our passions, commitments, and personal growth, and literal time.

“…And even as we expand our state of consciousness, we still have the same amount of hours and minutes in a day. And we still have these human bodies that do have a finite amount of like a literal energy” - said recently in .co mentoring (a season which has been phenomenal, thank you Alison).

The way I serve my people, and deeply feel, think, process, live, love and feel loved, does take me off platforms like this sometimes. I am seasonal & so very human.

But I LOVE this space. I am constantly inspired by the ambitious creatives here, that’s you. It’s where I’ve found my greatest deepest friendships, clients & co-creators.🥹

I wanted to honour endings. I love how everything starts and ends with Winter, rest, the void, the mystery?

The Hive closed for the season last week, while I was still visiting family in Perth. A ceremonious final call. Amidst an amazing time with my loved ones. Since then I’ve travelled home, hugged and sipped coffee as much as possible with my hubby-to-be, and started looking *kinda* for a new home, although we’re not 100%, that’s in motion.

I see so easily how I (we?) can skip past endings. I was going to say endings are bittersweet, but - it’s just sweet. I’m full of admiration for each woman who joined me for the season(s). And I want to take a moment to acknowledge the season, them, The Hive.

Some of what we traversed together included…romancing and ritualising our creativity, discovered our timeless truths & truth spiral, but also made space to listen to hard truths too. And lastly we got intimate and front on with our genius and gifts, ways to share more of ourselves and how that looks in this season. There is a waitlist on my website if you would like to be one of the 10 inside next time.

Seeing women honour themselves and their creativity in deeper, and deeper ways is amazing. Some honeys have been there since day one and are still finding as much value as the first season… *see creativity isn’t a destination*.

I’ve also been tender to have a Perth trip come to an end too, at the same time. I’ve shared a few captures, it was magic cuddling my nieces, having quality time precious fam and friends too. I often I find it especially hard to condense it into a little box - it just feels so full of love. But more postcards to come ❣️💌💌 and even another trip in the next few months.

Happy start of Winter or Summer.. even though it isn’t one certain day that defines a season, that we are almost always in transition.. and but, exactly where we are. A reflection of our bodies. Seasons are diverse, and not always what we imagine - we can bloom in Winter or go slower in Summer too. Cycle phases are invitations to accept, be present, but not to become stagnant. Today comes with a reminder of letting go of what has been, and making room for what’s to come.

I hope this next one is as magic as your heart desires 🫶🏼
