Throughout the year, we will be holding several psychiatric-based clinical skills sessions, specialty pathway information sessions and also explore the application of psychiatry in future medical practice! Our Story

UNSW Psychiatry Society is a SIG (Special Interest Group) affiliated with the Medical Society (MedSoc) at the University of New South Wales. We aim to promote, facilitate and consolidate learning about Psychiatry for UNSW medical students. Throughout the year, we hold psychiatry-based clinical skills workshops and specialty pathway information sessions for our medical students. We also act as a medium through which other Psychiatry education initiatives may raise awareness about Psychiatry within the medical student demographic. To a lesser extent, we work with UNSW MedSoc to destigmatise psychiatric disorders and strengthen medical student understanding of mental health, for both our future patients and ourselves. Please like our page if you would like to stay updated with our latest events. If you have any questions or would like to collaborate with us, please send us a Direct Message on Facebook or email secretary@psychsoc.org.au.

We look forward to your interest and engagement.
