It is official — after 17 beautiful years, The Crystal Shop has been sold, and our last day of trading with Fay And Elise will be Friday, 23 January 2026.
What an emotional rollercoaster this journey has been. In my heart of hearts, I know this has been the right decision for Elise and me, even though it is incredibly bittersweet. Seventeen years… where do you even begin? The memories, the laughter, the challenges, the growth — it has truly been a journey beyond words.
People have asked me what I’m going to do next, and the honest answer is that I’m not quite sure yet. For now, I plan to sit for a while and ponder, reflect, travel a little, meet new people, and simply see where life leads. Maybe, just maybe, there could be a book or an Instagram page one day, sharing some of the life experiences along the way. The world really does feel like my oyster right now, and that feels both exciting and a little surreal.
What I am most looking forward to, though, is spending time with my family — without having to say, “Sorry, Elise or I are working this weekend.” After 17 years, that is something I am truly cherishing.
We are also so excited for the next chapter of The Crystal Shop under its new owner, Natasha. I know the anticipation and excitement she must be feeling — I remember it so well — and I know she will bring a beautiful new energy to the space. I’m absolutely confident you will all make her feel very welcome, and I’m excited to see her carry The Crystal Shop name forward while adding her own unique flair.
Most importantly, none of this would have been possible without you — our beautiful community. Without your love, support, and loyalty over the years, Elise and I would never have been as successful as we have been. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We will be forever grateful, and we will cherish each and every one of you always.
