We had another special session at PKY this week despite some absences 🎵

We used new yoga resources to enhance our poses, the Zen Zoo yoga cards and book from Kmart 🧘‍♀️

Then we used blocks to enhance our poses and make them more challenging! 💪

Our mindful moment was inspired by watching the light and shapes of different kaleidoscope which helped us to create our own mandala shapes ☀️

But the best part was a visit from Miss Nina from .kids playing her special heart chakra sound bowl for us and her mini playing the 7 mini chakras bowls 🥣 💚

We love having visitors share their gifts and talents in our sessions as we encourage the kids to do the same ❤️ 🧡 💛 💚 💙 💜 🤍

Halloween Yoga!

This week, we spooked up our yoga mats with a Halloween theme! Can you guess the poses we conjured up? 👽 🕷 👻 🎃

We rooted ourselves in Yoga tree pose, testing balance and coordination. Then, we rocked our boat pose with soft balls and exercise balls 🛶

To unwind, we crafted a spider web for breathing exercises and added a tiny spider 🕸

Our final class of Term 3 was this week! 😊

As usual, we breathed, stretched and practiced our yoga flows.

We also wrapped up with some amazing Yoga and mindful games. Two resources I recommend below.

We loved playing the Happy Hearts game from . It's all about gratitude and happiness and doing yoga of course!

Then, we got creative with Yoga Spinner by , making partner poses with 6 legs and 6 arms! 🤸‍♀️

Our final activity was making dream catchers, such a fun mindful craft. 🌠
