I'd like to take a moment to pay my condolences to the family, friends and community of Judy Finlason OAM. Judy always strived to make a difference in the Redfern community across children's and human rights, children services, community arts and the environment.

Over the decades she was a passionate advocate for many of the causes close to the heart of the Redfern community, advocating to save the Magic Yellow Bus at Marrickville, the Children's Theatre, and the Woolli Creek and Cooks River Valley.

She left a lasting legacy, and it was a pleasure to know her and her inspiring advocacy for her local community.
