We wrapped up a fantastic week in Melbourne, delivering two hands-on clinical education sessions for local therapists.

Introduction to Supported Lying saw everyone getting up close with a range of supported lying systems—trialling setups, comparing features side by side, and exploring how these solutions can improve sleep, influence tone and posture, and support meaningful NDIS outcomes.

Our Adjust & Align: Getting to Grips with Tools workshop brought plenty of practical problem-solving, with participants learning when and how to make wheelchair and seating adjustments, which tools to reach for, and when to call in a supplier. Lots of hands-on practice and plenty of “aha” moments throughout!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us—your engagement and energy made both sessions a standout.

Behind the scenes in our workshop...

This Ki Mobility Focus CR is getting a serious boost — we’re fitting it out with Alber E-Fix power assist wheels to make it easier for the person's carers to push and manoeuvre the wheelchair, especially when outdoors and negotiating hills.

The Focus CR is a great tilt-in-space wheelchair option, designed to make things easier for both the user and the carer. The “CR” stands for Complex Rotation, which basically means smooth, balanced tilting that doesn’t throw things off-centre. You can even adjust the centre of gravity with the user still in the chair. Its clever design also gives better access to the wheels and more flexibility for different seating setups - great for fine-tuning the fit. Add in an E-Fix, and you’ve got power assist that can get you where you need to go.
