--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Due to the confusion about what type of practices can open during these two weeks lock down in Sydney, CMASA has gathered information from the NSW government website and liaised with other related government department and the summary is:

• AHPRA registered practitioners and ingestive practitioners, such as naturopaths, nutritionists, herbalists and homeopaths, can continue to operate in clinical settings. Therapeutic massage in a clinical setting is permitted to operate.
During operation:
o Practitioners should ensure that all the measures that were introduced last year are in place to operate in a COVID safe manner and that all clients register with a QR Code.
o Practitioners and clients are required to wear a mask and appropriate infection control has to be maintained.

• Business premises such as hairdressers, spas, nail salons, beauty salons, waxing salons, tanning salons, tattoo or massage parlours must be closed.
CMASA members are strongly advised to ensure that they manage their risks while they continue clinical work in terms of their own health and wellbeing.
