What is an Exercise Physiologist?
An accredited Exercise Physiologist is a Univer- sity qualified allied health professional who specialises in the delivery of exercise and lifestyle modification for prevention, treatment and management of chronic health conditions and injuries.
Who do we treat?
We treat people of all ages, the majority being mature adults. Most people are here to either prevent health conditions associated with ageing or manage current health concerns. No prior training experience is required as we will teach you everything you need to know.
Where do I start?
Simply come in or call our clinic to book an initial assessment.
We will assess your medical & lifestyle history, posture, balance and muscular strength.
You then move through a 10 week supervised exercise program (2x30 minute sessions per week), which is tailored to your body’s needs and individual goals.
Along the way we will teach you how to read your training card and set up the equipment, so by the end you feel confident to continue independently.
