In my work as a clinical nutritionist, I see the same tension again and again — the “perfect” plan versus the life you actually want to live.
Wellness anarchy, to me, means finding the middle ground: build solid foundations (gut health, steady energy, restorative sleep) and give yourself permission to enjoy life.
You can support your microbiome and still share a meal with friends. You can nourish your body and say yes to a spontaneous evening out.

What’s one wellness “rule” you’re ready to soften this week?

Over the next few posts, I’m exploring a concept that really caught my attention: “Wellness Anarchy.”
It’s about breaking away from the all-or-nothing approach to health — the idea that you’re either perfectly disciplined or completely off the rails.
Wellness anarchy invites something more human: a way to care for yourself without rigidity, to hold structure and freedom, to be well without obsession.
I’ll share what the idea means, how it shows up in everyday life, and why it might be the mindset shift we need to bring some balance (and enjoyment) back into wellbeing.
I’d love to hear what you think along the way.
