A Warning to the West
Forty-seven years ago, in 1979, we Iranians lost Iran.
Not through invasion or war, but through complacency, miscalculation, and a fatal underestimation of radical ideology.
Under the Shah, whilst imperfect, Iran was racing toward modernity, women began to attended university, the economy boomed, no passports required to travel to the US and the country stood as a bulwark against Soviet expansion.
Jimmy Carter’s administration, obsessed with human-rights lectures and blind to the threat of Khomeini’s theocracy, watched as protests, fueled by Islamists, Marxists, and useful Western intellectuals, toppled a flawed but progressive ally.
What replaced it was a regime, supported by the left, that hangs g**s from cranes, stones women for “adultery,” murders its own people without relent and in cold blood, funds Hezbollah and Hamas, and chants “Death to America” while racing toward nuclear weapons.
The cost has been nothing short of staggering.
Iran’s revolution exported jihadism across the Middle East and Europe.
Western cities now host “no-go” zones, grooming scandals, and Sharia courts.
Campus radicals wave Hamas flags while Iranian-style morality police patrol streets in veiled form.
Elites repeat the same 1979 mistakes, open borders without integration, multiculturalism that treats radical Islam as just another “culture,” and censorship that brands honest criticism as “Islamophobia.”
France burns, Britain convulses over two-tier policing, highest r**e rates in Europe and heightened knife crime, Sweden’s crime stats shatter records, and America’s elite universities incubate the very ideology that turned Iran into a prison.
History tends to repeat itself and sometimes it’s unfortunate.
The same cocktail of elite denial, demographic transformation, and ideological surrender that destroyed Iran is now fermenting in the West.
If we refuse to secure borders, enforce assimilation, defend secular values, not be afraid of speaking out and being cancelled, and confront Islamist networks with the same resolve we once showed communism, we will not “lose” individual cities or neighborhoods, we will lose our civilization.
Iran’s tragedy was not inevitable. Neither is that of the West. But the clock is ticking. Wake up before the call to prayer drowns out the bells of freedom.
One more thing, don’t jump ship.
They’re banking on you doing so. Stay and fight. Fight for your land, don’t let them take it.
