There’s a quiet kind of strength in choosing softness, especially in a world that often asks for urgency. Lately, I’ve been leaning into slower mornings, letting my body wake in its own time, stepping outside for mindful walks, and noticing the way warm light settles across the day. It hasn’t been about doing more, but about meeting each moment with a little more care, a little more presence.

This is what my heart has been asking for. Less pushing, more listening. Less noise, more noticing. And in that space, something gentle and steady begins to return.

How is your heart today? 🌅🧘🏼‍♀️💛

Today is World Art Day — and it’s also the birthday of Leonardo da Vinci 🎨✨

Art invites us to feel, question, connect and see the world differently. It nurtures creativity, sparks curiosity, and opens space for understanding. When we support creativity, we’re also supporting a more peaceful and connected world.

I’m celebrating by meeting a friend to make some art together, and this morning I put on some music and danced around the lounge room to wake up my body and mind 🥰🎶

This is a little invitation to create, notice, or simply enjoy the art around you today 🌏💫

I’m participating in the 20 Hours for 20Talk challenge to raise awareness and funds for youth mental health. This event involves dedicating 20 hours to silent reflection within a 2-metre square, aiming to foster mindfulness and support mental wellbeing initiatives. Yep, I’ll be sitting in a warehouse for 20 hours with 250 people with no talking and no technology.

I’m looking for support to help me reach my $1000 goal. All the money raised is going to 20Talk to help fund mental health training scholarships for young adults in need.

There’s been a quiet pause here, and I wanted to share why. I’ve been settling back into life outside of hospital, gently finding my rhythm again. Right now, everything is slower, softer, and more intentional. I’m focusing on one thing each day, one step at a time, and allowing space to rest in between.

It’s a different way of moving through life… not driven by urgency, but guided by what I actually have the capacity for. Some days that means doing something small and calling it enough. Other days it means resting and trusting that this, too, is part of the process.

I’m learning to listen more closely to my energy and to honour it, rather than push through. And I’m curious… when your energy feels limited, how do you decide what comes first? How do you prioritise when you’re working with fewer spoons?

There’s something about the ocean that meets you exactly where you are. Standing here again, I felt that quiet reminder that healing doesn’t rush, it unfolds. I caught myself wondering how often I actually allow myself to rest, not just physically but in a deeper way, giving myself permission to pause, to soften, to not be “on” all the time. Healing isn’t only about the body; it’s about honouring emotions, spirit, and energy, and when I create space to be still, to reflect, to simply exist without expectation, something gentle begins to shift. Today felt like a return, not to a place, but to that inner permission. If you’re moving through something right now, maybe the invitation is small and simple: one moment of self-compassion, one breath where you don’t have to fix anything, just be.

Do you have a place to simply be?

Dru Yoga is a graceful, flowing style of yoga that blends movement, breath and visualisation to leave you feeling calm, centred, and rejuvenated. ‘No pain, no pan’ is a common phrase in this discipline. We start with the modification and then invite people to listen to their bodies. If pain does come up, we step back into relaxation.

Dru is designed for all bodies, all levels and all ages. It is Yoga that promotes strength, flexibility and a deep sense of inner peace.

There’s something quietly powerful about the words I’m home… especially when they weren’t expected quite so soon.

Yesterday I was being asked what day I’d like to leave, and suddenly everything shifted. There was a scramble, a flurry of organising, and then just like that… I was walking back into my own space, my own rhythm, my own breath.

I’m easing in gently this week, letting my body and mind catch up with the change, letting it all land. And then Easter with my dad and brother, which I’m really excited about and feels grounding in its own way.

Grateful doesn’t quite cover it. But it’s a place to start 🌻🌻🌻

There is a version of me that existed before words, before roles, expectations, diagnoses, or definitions.

She lives in rhythm, in breath, and in instinct.

This poem came from sitting with her, not trying to fix or analyse anything, but simply listening.

Maybe your inner child is not something to heal, but something to remember.

And maybe she has been wise all along 🤍

Happiness doesn’t always look like sunshine and ease.
Sometimes it looks like choosing calm in a noisy room.
Sometimes it’s putting on headphones, dimming the world, and protecting your energy.

Today, on International Day of Happiness, I’m in hospital
practising the small, real skills:

✨ finding a quieter space
✨ limiting conversation when I need to
✨ using music to regulate
✨ letting “not now” be enough

Happiness here isn’t loud.
It’s gentle, intentional, and deeply self-respecting.

If you’re somewhere hard right now, this counts too. 🤍

If you’ve been feeling irritable lately, I very much get it.

It might not be about what’s happening around you…
It might be your body asking for space, rest, or quiet.

Today I’m choosing:
– less input
– slower pace
– a little more kindness towards myself

These considerations serve as a gentle reminder that we don’t need to override our feelings to be “okay”.

This week is Neurodiversity Celebration Week (March 16–20).

Neurodiversity reminds us that there is no single “right” way for a brain to work. Human minds are wonderfully varied, and those differences shape how we think, create, communicate, and experience the world.

Celebrating neurodiversity is not just about awareness. It is about belonging, inclusion, equity, and making space for people to participate as they are, rather than asking them to constantly adapt to systems that were not designed for them.

As someone who is neurodivergent, this week feels important. The more openly we talk about different ways of thinking and processing the world, the easier it becomes for people to feel seen, understood, and supported.

I would love to know what helps you feel like you truly belong.
