I was SO excited to be going back to the market where it all began: Bondi Public School, our kidsā school, our community.
A year ago, my very first market almost got cancelled because of the weather. This time? Massive wind gusts sent marquees flying across the playground during setup š
I had to laugh, of COURSE the weather had other plans! But we secured everything down, the wind settled, and it turned into the most beautiful day.
Being surrounded by the people whoāve been part of this journey from day one made it all come together. Swipe to meet them ā
Last year, Debbie and Kirk were my very first customers. This year they came straight back for more. That feeling when people remember and return? Pure magic.
The Tandoori Paste flew off the table, mostly thanks to my husbandās sales tips (heās got the gift!). And the girls? Well, who can say no when they offer you a chai taster with those smiles š
Watching my family share what weāve created with our community, the pride on their faces, honestly thatās the real win.
The best part? Being surrounded by mini makers: our 8-year-old and her bestie running their own stall across the way, young entrepreneurs all around me. The creativity, the hustle, the joy. This is what itās all about.
I had other markets to choose from to book that day, but this one was non-negotiable. This community backed me when I had no idea what I was doing, and showing up for our school, whatever the weather throws, is what Prem & Prana is about.
Thank you to everyone who stopped for a chai, enjoyed a candy cane and a chat, or just said hello š
Next up: Bondi Beach Christmas Markets, this Saturday Dec 13 & and 20th
See you there!
