I am thankful for the invitation from and to an event that successfully raised awareness about domestic violence against women and families, while highlighting available resources. Violence against anyone is unacceptable. Education on rights and the importance of speaking out should commence at home and begin at an early age. It is essential to recognize the importance of men’s mental health and provide support from a young age, enabling them to manage their emotions and provide support at an early age. As we are interdependent, helping men cope with their emotions and mental health could enable them to support the women in their lives and their welfare.
