🚌 Bus Trip to Centillion Chinese Restaurant! 🥢

Some of our lovely residents enjoyed a delicious lunch outing to Centillion Chinese Restaurant this week. The food was absolutely wonderful, and there were plenty of laughs and smiles shared around the table as everyone enjoyed each other’s company.
A special highlight of the day was having our meals delivered by Bella the Robot! 🤖 She certainly added some extra fun and excitement to our dining experience.
It was a fantastic day out filled with great food, great company, and great memories! ❤️

Remembrance Day 2025 🌹
Today, We gathered at the front of our facility to honour Remembrance Day. A minute of silence was held, with The Last Post played beforehand and The Rouse following. Consumers and staff came together to pay their respects to the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our country.

🌋🧪 Science fun in action! Our amazing ”Scientists” got creative today and built their very own volcano for an elephant toothpaste experiment! 🧼🐘 The colorful eruption was a blast — full of laughter, learning, and a little bit of bubbly chaos! 💥👏

🍓 This week’s Activity Program at Tamworth Community Aged Care 🍓

We’ve got an exciting week ahead in our Lifestyle Program, filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy! From getting hands-on with a fascinating science experiment and testing your luck at bingo, to spending some relaxing time in the garden or hitting the green for a friendly game of golf, there’s something for every interest. We’ll also be enjoying movies in the cinema, a lively sing-along, and our always-popular mystery bus trips. And to wrap up the week in style, don’t miss our cheerful happy hour! It’s set to be a week full of smiles, connection, and great memories.

🌞 Chill Afternoon in the Banksia Courtyard! 🌞

Today, We fired up the BBQ for a sausage sizzle, cooled off with ice-cold lemonade, coke, and ice blocks, and enjoyed some great tunes in the sunshine. Nothing better than good food, good music, and good company! 🔥🎶

Melbourne Cup Celebrations

Our residents got into the spirit of the race that stops the nation today, donning their fascinators, bright colours and big smiles! Everyone gathered to watch the live race while enjoying some delicious drinjs and nibbles.

A Week of Wellness, Connection & Creativity
This week, we’re celebrating movement, mindfulness, and meaningful moments. Residents can enjoy gentle exercise sessions, walking groups, and lawn bowls to stay active and energized. Our creative minds will be busy with craft sessions, gardening, and Remembrance Day activities, while social butterflies can look forward to lively sing-alongs, bingo, and movie afternoons.

Special highlights include Melbourne Cup celebrations on Tuesday with sweeps, fashion fun, and festive décor, plus a BBQ lunch later in the week to bring everyone together. Whether it’s a relaxing hand pamper, a friendly game of Uno, or a soothing cinema session, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Join us as we make this week one to remember—filled with friendship, laughter, and the joy of living well together. 🌸
