And now somehow… we’re already practically 4 months in.

4 months of saying:
ā€œI need to start.ā€
ā€œI’ll get back into it soon.ā€
ā€œI just need to find my rhythm first.ā€

But the truth is…
Your body won’t change from thinking about it. Your energy won’t come back from wanting it. Your confidence won’t grow while you keep waiting to ā€œfeel ready.ā€

This is what happens when the work finally starts paying off šŸ‘€

And honestly… that turning point changes everything.

How are we already 4 months into the year šŸ˜…

Genuine question…

Did you actually start the thing you said you were going to start this year?

Because so many people go into January saying:
šŸ‘‰ ā€œThis is my yearā€
šŸ‘‰ ā€œI want to feel good in my body againā€
šŸ‘‰ ā€œI want more energyā€
šŸ‘‰ ā€œI want to tone up and feel strongerā€

And then life happens. Work. Dinner. School runs. Fam. Being exhausted. Trying to ā€œfind the right time.ā€

And before you know it… another few months pass.

There was a time I didn’t feel like this in my own body...

I wasn't fully comfortable or confident.

I was always just a little bit aware of how I looked.. especially getting changed or being seen. (Hello living with a skin condition)

And that feeling? It follows you into everything.

What I’ve learned — both through my own journey and coaching so many people is this:

šŸ‘‰Confidence like this doesn’t come from a random burst of motivation to workout.

It comes from knowing your body is actually responding to the work you're putting in. šŸ’„

šŸ”„From having a structure that supports you.
šŸ™ŒFrom training in a way that shapes your body.
šŸ“From eating in a way that keeps you feeling in control.

I see it happen all the time…
People who start off unsure, covering up, second guessing themselves..

It doesn't shake me.

Because when you’re solid in who you are you don’t feel the need to explain yourself.

I’ve been completely alcohol-free for almost 3 and a half years now.

Not because I have to be… but because I choose to be. šŸ”„

I choose how I show up.
I choose how I feel.
I choose what aligns with me.

And that’s the standard I hold in my life and inside my spaces.

People will always have something to say.

The difference is you don’t have to take it on.

If your body hasn’t changed in a while… it’s not because you’re lazy.

It’s usually because your training hasn’t changed.

Same workouts.
Same weights.
Same approach.
= Same body.

And at some point, that gets frustrating.
Because you are putting in effort.

But effort without the right strategy?

It won’t give you the result you’re chasing.
This week I had two moments that really reinforced this.

First—my brother.
He’s been coming to group classes consistently and started noticing things he hadn’t before…

His cheekbones are more defined.
He can feel his ribs again.
His core is tighter.
His shape is changing.
His clothes are fitting differently.
Nothing extreme.

Just showing up… and training properly.

Then one of my clients this week šŸ‘‡
After a few months of staying consistent, her measurements had been sitting the same…
Until now.

Almost all of them dropped.

And here’s the part most people miss:
We didn’t change everything.
We refined it.

šŸ‘‰Smarter programming
šŸ‘‰Better technique
šŸ‘‰Lifting with intent
šŸ‘‰A more dialled-in eating rhythm

That’s the difference.
Working smarter.
Lifting heavier (properly).

Grief isn't weakness by any means. If anything it's incredible strength.

It’s love with nowhere to go and still showing up every single day.

It’s getting out of bed when your heart feels heavy.

It’s holding onto memories, precious moments, and people with you while still choosing to keep moving forward because you know that's what they would want for you.

It’s loving your baby you never got to hold, and missing your brother or family member in the quiet moments no one else sees.

Grief doesn’t make you weak... it’s the price of a love so deep, it never had an ending... even when their time did.

You’re tired of putting effort into things that don’t change your body. That's not being lazy.

Workouts aren't what you’re missing..
It’s the way you used to feel in your own skin.

When you can’t see progress, it’s hard to believe the work will ever pay off.

It’s usually because you’ve been putting effort into workouts that aren’t actually designed to change your body.

Today my brother said something that really stuck with me.

He’s been coming to group classes and he’s noticed something…

āœ…ļøHis core is changing.
āœ…ļøHis shape is changing.
āœ…ļøHis clothes are fitting differently.

And the best part?
šŸ‘‰His food hasn’t been perfect.

He knows there’s room to improve.
But he’s on a mission now because he can actually see and feel the difference.šŸ”„

And that’s the turning point.šŸ™Œ

Because when someone finally sees progress, this is what happens internally.

You stop thinking
ā€œMaybe this won’t work for meā€¦ā€

And start thinking
ā€œOkay… this is working. Let’s gošŸ”„"

Another thing he said was that he loves the group environment.

Because when you’re surrounded by others pushing themselves, something happens…

You push harder than you would at home.
Harder than you would alone in the gym.
