This was my first shrub. Made in March 2018.
Crazy when I think back to not knowing anything about them until I started working at Bodega 1904.
Learnt so many awesome things there even though it was a short stint. Mental health is something that impacts you more than you think and other people around you can feel it too.
I’m happy to say that I’ll be starting making product again!!
I have cherry shrubs available from next week
Fermented citrus syrup (super tangy and fizzy delicious)
I’ll also be starting a bunch of kombucha
Hopefully with work slowing down again I’ll be able to concentrate on making lots of yummy things for you all!

Hey guys
I’ve got some shrubs and cheese condiments to find homes.
Delicious and refreshing with sparkling water or to fancy up your Prosecco. Add to liquor of your choice for a fancy spin on your tipple.
Also drank on its own as a ACV tonic.

Great size for grazing boxes and gift hampers.
Keep refrigerated and shake well before use.

Delicious bubbles in my Purple Carrot, Kale, Chilli, Leek and Cabbage Kraut...
This is the amazing evolution of a ferment, what’s starts as just sliced and shaved veg, turning into this bubbling crock of !! I’ve been fermenting my krauts outside with just muslin over the top to protect it from particles and bugs. Stops the complaints about the gas burps smelling too

Just bottled some new kraut and fermented fig and honey dressing.
Beetroot, kale, cabbage and carrot Kraut
Fennel, rainbow chard, celery and cabbage Kraut
Both are delicious, full of all that amazing fermented probiotic goodness.
$14 for a 500ml jar

The fermented fig and honey dressing is delightful. Earthy, tangy, sweet and light. Beautiful on a rocket salad, drizzled across poached eggs and avo.
Made from local lemons, balsamic, organic apple cider vinegar, local honey, local fermented figs, evo, salt and pepper.

Have a whole bunch of goodies ready
Lots of shrubs, cheese condiments, jams and kraut.
Shrubs are drinking vinegars.
Sweet and sharp, used as cordials but also excellent in cocktails and even hot.
I’ve been sourcing local ingredients as much as possible and I use organic apple cider vinegar with the mother.
I’m a chef that has worked in a number of restaurants in Sydney though have moved back up here due to the Covid19 closures.
I have a whole fridge of fresh produce and need to start selling them
I’m still being a perfectionist with my labels
And I’m not very good with doing fancy social media

They’re Apple and pear gingerbread Bundt cakes
Super tasty and really nice warm with cream.
