This small-group, therapist-focused workshop is designed to build your confidence in both theory and practice. We will explore real-world case discussions, practical demos, and hands-on use of standing aids, hoists, slings, slide sheets and more.

✨ What’s for dinner tonight? A side of stardom, apparently!
We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the JBC crew for their refresher manual handling training yesterday — but this session came with a twist…

👩‍🍳⭐ Turns out, I had not one, but TWO celebrities in the group — featured in the brand new JBC Recipe Book! When they surprised me with a copy, I did what any excited fan would do… I asked for their autographs. 🙌

This cookbook is packed with heart, flavour, and creativity — just like the amazing support workers who contributed to it. Can't wait to test out these recipes at home! 🍝🥗🍪

No matter how well support staff are trained, if services aren’t being reviewed or set up safely from the start, support workers will be at risk and the quality of care they provide will suffer.

But…. When an organisation has their RN who assesses services and responds to risks come along to training – well that is magic and the positive gains of training can really take hold 💪

Support workers can thrive in their skills and care delivery when they learn how to risk assess services AND hear from their employer that their feedback will be responded to and will positively impact the care they provide!

This is what collaboration looks like in aged care and disability support! When everyone's voice matters, care quality soars! 💫
