As we scoot towards the end of 2025 and our annual clinic closure, we want to extend a massive thank you to our clients, families, clinicians, and referral partners for another meaningful year at Surf Coast Mind Body Health.

We’re so grateful for the trust, collaboration, and care that makes this work possible. Wishing everyone a safe, restful holiday season - we’re looking forward to what 2026 brings 💙

What a Milestone Day for our Clinic 💙

Yesterday we closed the clinic for the day and came together for our very first SCMBH Seminar - A full day dedicated to the pursuit of clinical excellence and continuing to refine the Model of Care and Client Journey we offer for our community.

Thank you to the inspiring for leading our day with your incredible wealth of knowledge packaged up in such a relatable, human, and engaging manner.

It was such a privilege to gather our whole team, new faces and familiar ones, to learn, reflect, and grow together.

We are so grateful for the people, the space, and the culture we’ve built over the past three years.

We ended the day with a beautiful dinner to celebrate this chapter and to mark our clinic’s 3rd anniversary at the Hub.

A massive Thank You also goes to for hosting us in a beautiful space and keeping us well fed and watered across the day.

Here’s to many more years of Surf Coast Mind Body Health learning, supporting, and making a difference together.

We have seen the heartfelt message shared by and our team at SCMBH would like to join them in extending our deepest sympathies to everyone impacted by the recent tragic bus accident.

We know that a devastating tragedy like this can affect people in many different ways, whether directly involved, connected through loved ones, or simply as members of our Surf Coast Community.

Experiencing feelings of shock, sadness and anxiety, or feeling unsettled and deeply impacted, are normal responses to a traumatic and unexpected event.

Our team of psychologists are here to support you, your children, or your family during this difficult time. Whether you need immediate support, or simply someone to check in with over the coming days or weeks, we encourage you to reach out. We will actively work to prioritise those individuals who have been impacted, to ensure acute support is available.

Please know that you are not alone in this. Together, as a community, we can process this tragedy and find ways to support one another 💙🩵

It’s a Big Week for New Additions to SCMBH! 🌊

We are doubly thrilled to also Welcome BONNIE LORIMER-RENIC to Our Team ✨

Bonnie is an AHPRA registered Provisional Psychologist joining SCMBH to complete her final placement of her Master of Clinical Psychology to achieve General Registration.

She is passionate about working with individuals across the lifespan and has a special interest in working with Child and Adolescents, particularly in the neurodiversity and eating disorder spaces 🧠

Bonnie has previously worked in childcare, education, and youth disability support roles, which has prepared her to understand the unique challenges and complexities of navigating younger developmental periods 🌱
