Ever heard of the ‘sit down, stand up test’? It measures your ability to sit and stand without much support. A 2014 study by Brito et al showed that adults aged 51-80 who scored lower on this test had a higher risk of mortality. Start with five points and subtract for any support used.

If you’re not there yet, no worries! Begin with seated exercises, work up to standing, and add activities like walking to build strength and balance. Let’s focus on improving mobility for a better quality of life!

1. Medical Aesthetic services are available for individuals 18 years and older only.
2. Quotes cannot be provided without a face-to-face consultation.
3. At Refresh NQ, we prioritise personalised care and encourage everyone to consult with a qualified healthcare professional to discuss the best options for your unique needs. Your individual qualities deserve the right approach!
4. Please note that all medical procedures carry risks and recovery times, and a thorough in-clinic consultation and assessment are required to determine suitability. Individual results may vary.
