This Month’s Education Focus: Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS)

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is a group of rare, inherited conditions that affect the body’s connective tissue — the “glue” that helps support your skin, joints, and organs.

People with EDS often experience joint pain, fatigue, and skin that’s stretchy or fragile. It’s a lifelong condition, often invisible, but very real. 💛

Let’s take this month to learn, understand, and show compassion — because not every disability can be seen. 🌻

🌻 Invisible Disabilities Week – Walk in My Shoes 👟

This Friday Bullet Support Solutions , proud members of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program, are celebrating Invisible Disabilities Week!

💬 Share Your Story:
Add your experience to our “Walk in My Shoes” Awareness Wall with a short quote about what living with an invisible disability feels like.
Example: “You can’t see my fatigue, but it’s always there.”

Did you know that Bullet Support Solutions is proud to be a Hidden Disabilities Ambassador 💚 Helping raise awareness, promote inclusion, and support those with unseen challenges.

It’s Invisible Disabilities Week (19–25 October)! 🌻

Around 80–85% of people with a disability have one that isn’t visible. These include neurological, cognitive, sensory, mental health, and chronic conditions that aren’t always immediately apparent.

Not all disabilities are visible — but a little understanding and kindness can go a long way in making everyone feel seen and supported.
