On 16 January, we reached a significant milestone, 10 years of Priority Health Group in Emerald. I would like to take this opportunity, as Practice Principal, to sincerely thank everyone who has contributed to our journey over the past decade.
First and foremost, I thank our patients for the trust you place in us. It has been a privilege to support you and to be part of your healthcare journey over the years.
I also extend my gratitude to the Emerald community, along with our families, carers, referrers, and community partners, for your continued support and confidence in our services.
This milestone would not have been possible without the teamwork, dedication, and shared commitment to quality care and compassion demonstrated by our people. I would like to formally acknowledge our dedicated and highly skilled team.
My sincere thanks to Saru Chifadza, Director of Nursing, for exceptional leadership and ongoing commitment to clinical excellence.
To our nursing team, including Senior Nurses Sue Pippin, Mark Felnar, Feliz, Arman, Bonna and Stephanie, thank you for your professionalism, dedication, and compassionate approach to care.
To our Senior Medical Team, Dr Long, Dr Spencer, and Dr Cheu, thank you for your expertise, leadership, and unwavering commitment to patient-centred care.
I also wish to recognise Narendra Varsani, Director of IT, for his leadership and ongoing support of the practice’s systems and infrastructure.
My thanks also to Daman Takkar, Practice Manager, and our administration team led by Alarnah and Rhi, whose diligence and professionalism ensure the practice operates smoothly and efficiently.
What began as a vision ten years ago has grown into a trusted healthcare service because of the collective efforts of our team and the continued support of the Emerald community. Without this shared commitment, this milestone would not have been achieved.
I look forward to continuing to serve Emerald and our surrounding communities in the years ahead.
