Online shopping on the road has actually been much easier to deal with than I expected! Basically you download the Australia Post app, choose a post office where you'd like your mail to go (we just choose somewhere we think we will be in a few weeks from the time of order), and it will give you a special parcel collect number and address, which you use as your delivery address for online orders. The app will tell you when it's been delivered to the post office, and you just go pick it up!
If for some reason there's a delay you just phone the post office or go into the app and have it redirected to another post office. There's a $6 fee for this, but we've done it multiple times and only ever been charged once.
Some post offices have been a little more difficult to deal with than others, but overall, it works pretty well!
