Do you have tiles, floorboards or polished concreate? These type of floorings are nightmares to a dogs toes and legs. They have to work extra hard at gaining grip and can over extended their muscles if they slip.
Simple cheap and easy solution is to place mats/rugs that have a grip backing allowing the dog to have a break from the slippery area or you can get toe grips which sit on the toenail allowing better grip with the toenails!
