It's OK to say NO!!!!

Without the need to carry shame, guilt or fear with that....

If something doesnt align with you boundaries, your values or just feels like a full body NO then so be it. How it is received is not your problem, you matter, your health matters and your voice matters most mama.

Whether this be in your prenatal, antenatal or post natal period and beyond into motherhood....

I invite you to ask yourself - where are you saying YES when really you want to say NO??????

I’m home now and feeling incredibly grateful that my hometown has not been impacted.

My heart however goes out to all surrounding communities who have been affected 🤍

Due to this, I’ve decided to postpone my upcoming Connection Circle that was scheduled for this Sunday 18th January, to Sunday 1st February.
I’m also offering this gathering free of charge, so it’s accessible to any mamas in the area who feel called to join.

My family and I chose to leave our home yesterday morning and are all ok.

Having a word of the year feels like an anchor for me — personally and within my space holding.

It sets the tone, the intention, and gently guides my goals throughout the year. A light to return to. A place to ground.

This year, that word is Presence.

Why? Because in the hustle of everyday life — work, home, relationships, motherhood/family, health — it’s so easy to move through moments without fully being in them.

Presence doesn’t come naturally to me; it takes intention, time, and practice. And that’s exactly why I feel called to deepen it over the next 12 months.

In my space holding, presence is a foundation that holds the sacred containers — being fully here, fully open, fully with.

✨ If you’d like to carve out time and space to sit with your word and vision for 2026, I’d love you to join my upcoming Connection Circle on Sunday January 18th, in Eildon, from 3–4:30pm.

✨ Mama, a gentle reminder… ✨

Tools, practices, rituals, support — they’re powerful, but only if you let them hold you.

And with the festive season approaching, this is your loving nudge to check in:
What are you putting in place to support yourself?
Not the to-do lists.
Not the expectations.
Not the “I’ll be fine.”
But the real, grounded support your nervous system is quietly craving.

Maybe it’s:

As a mum, there are moments when everything just feels too much.
You look around and think —
“I’ve got to get the kids ready, do the washing, feed the dog, brush my teeth —
and there’s just no time.”
In those moments, it’s not just the to-do list that’s heavy —
it’s the pressure we put on ourselves to hold it all together.
That’s when the overwhelm hits.
And sometimes, it’s not that we don’t have time —
it’s that we’ve lost our sense of how time actually feels.

Something that has supported me was begining to become aware — and actually be mindful and track— how long things took.
So, instead of staying in that spiral of “I’ll never get it all done,”
I’d take a breath… and check in.
I’d say, “Okay, I’ve got half an hour.”
Doing the dishes? 5 minutes.
Hanging the washing? 10.
Brushing my teeth? 3.
Feeding the dogs? 2.
And suddenly — there’s space.
There’s clarity….
Because now, I’m not guessing — I know.

Now when I feel that frazzled energy rise up,
I pause.
I breathe.
I remind myself — I have enough time to do what truly matters.
Then I move forward — one task at a time —
paced, grounded, and refocused.
Because motherhood isn’t about doing it all at once —
it’s about finding presence in the doing.
So the next time you feel that rush of overwhelm,
just pause for a moment…
breathe…
and remember —
“I have enough time to do what truly matters.”

This is not 100% of the time - there is not such thing as perfection - this take practise and a lot of letting go!!!!
