Hello Canberra,

I would like to share a Trivia Night Fundraiser for “Grind to Ground” that will be happening Saturday June 3rd at the Belconnen Labor Club.

This event is to bring awareness to a small not-for-profit organisation called Grind to Ground. They create a sustainable product called “Grounded” that enhances garden soil by combining waste coffee grounds and sawdust. It's solely operated by volunteers including those with disabilities, local school students and educators from CIT focusing on building social connections. “Grounded” and potted plants are on sale to the Canberra Community.

The Trivia Night Fundraiser will help Grind to Ground with all of the costs to keep an organisation like this going including insurances, supporting the volunteers and the collection of the coffee grounds from the numerous coffee shops across Canberra.

Come have some fun, it is "theme night" come dressed to impress. Theme is anything Grind to Ground, coffee, gardening or nature related use your imaginations!! It’s a community event for all that are 18 years and older and there are plenty of prizes to be won. Book tables of 6/ 8 and food can be ordered and delivered to your table. Starts at 7pm, buy your individual ticket (we can allocate you to a table) or table now and please share!!!
