🌟PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT 🌟

Rehab For Kids is a one of a kind conference which brings together nursing, allied health and medical expertise in the field of paediatric rehabilitation services.

Our team recently attended with Lisa presenting on the challenges of attending school with complex health and disability needs, as well as a snapshot of how to effectively collaborate between hospital, community, and education services.

This conference was a wonderful way for our team to continue learning and hear all the latest research related to children’s brain and spinal cord conditions.

🌟 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT 🌟

Our team recently attended the Professional Association of Nurses in
Developmental Disability Australia (PANDDA) National conference.

Natalie and Lisa were privileged to be invited to offer a keynote speech on different models of nursing care. The focus was on how we place the individual at the centre of all we do, whist thinking outside the box to offer a clinically excellent service.

It was wonderful to network with our colleagues to learn and share experiences. We are lucky to have such amazing nurses in this field

Some wonderful feedback for our whole team! 🏆

Natalie recently attended the 2025 Functional Neurological Disorder Symposium in Brisbane to help develop our understanding on this often-misunderstood neurological condition.

Such a valuable event for networking and learning with some brilliant presentations including individuals with lived experience.

Do you live with FND? Or perhaps want to learn more about how to support those living with FND? A great starting point is the journey is the Renew Neuro webinar available at https://renewneuro.com.au/fnd

Guess what?! We are lucky enough to have another superstar nurse on board 👏 Welcome Beth 💫

It’s Invisible Disabilities Week (19–25 October)! 🌻

Around 80–85% of people with a disability have one that isn’t visible. These include neurological, cognitive, sensory, mental health, and chronic conditions that aren’t always immediately apparent.

Not all disabilities are visible — but a little understanding and kindness can go a long way in making everyone feel seen and supported.
