“When I called Raquel things clicked into place within the first 5 minutes. She held the space like a pro! She asked me the questions I needed to answer for myself.

It was like she was playing a game of chess with my mind and heart. I couldn’t believe it. I was smiling for the first time in months. All because she was able to be 1 step ahead of me, by asking a question instead of dictating to me an answer. It was amazing.

Before I knew it, I was thinking about things in a more positive, creative even childlike light. …. Interesting core values as simple as how my favourite movie characters as a kid had inspired me, what feelings they invoked in me and why.

It was Raquel’s questions but more importantly her PATIENCE in allowing me to process and provide a response, sometimes we would be silent for minutes while i searched my soul processing an answer.

She helped dig into the core of my spirit and reach into the darkness I had melted into - she was the spark that flickered on a little light.

I have been working with her for just over a year now. My relationship with my son who is now 2 couldn’t be more special. I have started a new business that i am intensely passionate about and is working with my new identity as a mummy/entrepreneur.

I can honestly say I wouldn’t be in this amazing place without Raquel's insight, patience, positivity and ability to intuitively know what journey was needed.

Playing in the shadows.

As I lay with my son last night, as I do every night he started playing with his shadows. You see he was wearing his spiderman pyjamas. Spiderman’s eyes light up and flash when you tap them. ‘Mama look at my arm! It’s so big’ the shadow of his arm was huge against the wall. He continued to explore his shadow varying the size and shapes for several minutes fascinated at the changes he was creating. What an interesting take on how you could easily change your shadow or perspective all dependent on the placement of your physical body (where you are), the reflection of light and your viewpoint. ‘Mama look it's my superpower’ He so quickly acknowledged that his shadow could indeed be his superpower, his strength and I wholeheartedly agree.
