SMOOTHIE BOWL RECIPE //
Try this delicious Smoothie Bowl recipe which is full of goodness, and perfect for a healthy breakfast or a quick and easy treat throughout the day! Hitting all three macronutrients in one bowl. This recipe perfectly combines flavour, health, and macronutrient balance.
SMOOTHIE BOWL RECIPE
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1 serve
INGREDIENTS
~ 1 1/4 cups of mixed berries
~ 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
~ 1/2 cup of rolled oats
~ 1 tbsp of smooth peanut butter
~ 1 small banana
~ 1/2 cup of milk of your choice
~ 1 tbsp of crushed nuts (almonds or peanuts)
~ 1 tbsp of pumpkin seeds are great
~ 1 tbsp of chia or h**p seeds
~ Top with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
METHOD:
~ Add all your ingredients to the blender
~ Blend on high until smooth
~ Pour your blended smoothie into a bowl and top with your favourite add-ons (if desired)
~ Serve and enjoy!
TOP TIP:
Make-ahead smoothie bowl packs: To make a smoothie bowl freezer pack, freeze all the ingredients together in a bag or container (except for the milk) and store them in the freezer. When you are ready, put the frozen ingredients and milk into the blender, blend, and enjoy!
NOTES
To make the smoothie thicker:
~ Use a high-powered blender
~ Use as many frozen ingredients as possible (add frozen banana).
~ Use as little liquid as possible to blend ingredients
